Dungeons are not democratic, they are autocratic for the most part because no one but a tank is there for decision making and leading.
Its particularly lack of protect that makes a difference.
I could feel it, it was about 15% buff to the deffensive stats.
My buttons are wear off by me pressing cooldowns, its not that.
While I wont get into a debate I will say I think the issue is alot of newcomers ie level and story skips dont know how to react when they get the skip for healer they just think the instant queue and shinies is awesome (and it is) thus they dont heal nowhere near as well as someone thats an old hand at it. I cannot say this is always the case but just about every few dungeouns I would tank the healer just constantly spamed physik or cure and tossed out the occassional aoe never once touching the other buttons in thier healing package.Dungeons are not democratic, they are autocratic for the most part because no one but a tank is there for decision making and leading.

I don't see why a dps would ever NOT want the tank to big pulls. A tank and healer that can handle the pulls is probably the best thing you can hope for in a dungeon experience, I don't really understand why a dps would feel bad about that. All they literally have to do is spam aoe abilities..
I leveled my healer to 80 and played every single new dungeon on my white mage. I can handle large pulls - with certain tanks. I have some tanks who can pull huge, manage their cds well, and are very easy to heal. I can do dps inbetween often. Others, usually gunbreakers ironically, can be extremely difficult to heal. I have also noticed a lot of tanks won't use a single dcd during boss fights or even during tank busters.

Tanks generally lost a great deal of their mitigative ability, especially in dungeons. Warrior's self-healing was slaughtered, Paladin had block get nerfed, lost bulwark and all of the tanks lost anticipation, convalescence, and awareness. All of these were very useful in tanking dungeon mobs.
Pulling large groups requires gear from both the tank and healer and knowledge of when to pop what buffs.
I have healed tanks in dungeons with no issues... then I had tanks that literally feel like they are wearing no armor at all in dungeons and just literally melt and die with me tossing bene, tetra, temperance, assize, healing bubble, using 5ish lilys and multiple shields all in 1 pull when doing mass pulls.
Large pulls are up to the tank and healer over all else, that simple they set the pace for the run. Honestly tank more the healer. It is their role in the party.
If they are not ready for large pulls, they SHOULD NOT do them. Wiping and running back waste more time then killing slightly smaller groups.

Oh my God don't get me started on this! When I was leveling my white mage, I still remember this, I had just done a very good run with a tank that pulled wall to wall. Second run I get into this same dungeon, new tank does the same pulls the last tank did, and to my surprise this guy was the squishiest tank I think I had ever had to that point in my leveling experience! I popped EVERYTHING and I still couldn't keep this guy up in the end. I actually lasted till the bitter end though didn't die even though everyone else did and killed the last couple stray adds. That experience was really memorable because of having one good tank immediately before this one.

As a Warrior main, you wot m8? Our sustain was nerfed in Stormblood, true, but in ShB they brought it back up with Nascent Flash. If you refer to Inner Beast actually losing it's healing, why were you using IB in the first place? Steel Cyclone sustain being gone is pretty bad but Chaotic Cyclone + Inner Release + Nascent Flash means not only you get to live but a buddy of your choosing gets to live as well. We don't even need to toggle stance for Equilibrium anymore. I'm sorry but I just don't see how Warrior lost anything. As a matter of fact, yes. Inner Beast was an amazing cooldown in a situation you were forced to use it in, purely for the damage mitigation. You shouldn't have had to use it, but it was there. And certainly was lost. Also, I'll admit that you're right. Naescent Flash is rather amazing, and it's nice to have bloodbath back - but better (If shorter.). But I'm not solely talking about Warrior, and there were things that all of the tanks shared which no longer exist.As a Warrior main, you wot m8? That said, Warrior is in fact the easiest tank to mitigate with, still. It has the best suite out of all of the tanks, save maybe Dark Knight. TBN is easily the single most powerful cooldown in the game. (Outside of HG, but that goes without saying. I would hope.)
