Uh, no offense, but did either you or the tank (I'm assuming you were the other dps?) actually tell them what they were supposed to do? Because otherwise, you come across as kind of a jerk in this scenario, especially if the other dps and healer were sprouts. While the clues are there, not everyone recognizes exactly what's going on in the heat of the moment, and if your only reaction to their honest question of "what should we do?" is to act like they're idiots and be unhelpful, that's a dick move. People learn in different ways, and sometimes someone just needs to say something for it to click.

the first wipe me and the tank let them think them self because for sprout, first experience is always good. so we are under assumption they already know what to do when we retry (especially since me and tank live and keep going until we die because no heal) and they didnt ask too.

only until when the scene happened again, the dps start asking "why cannot attack" thingy and healer still quiet but run around without destination.

tank ask, they reply, tank explain, and iam baffled. i though this suppose to be basic?

Quickly both DPS displayed that they don't care for dodging AoE and as expected 2nd Boss the DPS died several times.

Just... don't be a dick to people. On don't put blame to a green leaf healer who really tried to save your sorry asses several times.

So, uhhh.

Ran expert earlier and landed in AA. Had just cleared that for the first time less than an hour before. Healer says "no big pack first" so I assume he means don't wall to wall pull to the door. Considering how sweaty the situation was on my first run I happily obliged to that. Then just ran pretty standard double pulls for the rest of the dungeon that I had no problems with on my first run. Before last boss there's 2 double pulls, the first one hits pretty hard. The situation ends with me on the floor but I get ressed and we take the last 2 mobs out. In chat I see "Why?". I assume he meant why I died from walking dead status. Just as I reach the end of the final double pull, which btw doesn't hit anywhere near as hard I see something like "what is the problem with big pulls?". I didn't really understand the question at the time so I just remained silent. After last boss is dead he says something along the lines of "big pulls is for both healer and tank" or something along the way. Now I'm confuced, I scroll up the chat aaaand... he's been saying no big pulls 2 or 3 times.

You know when sometimes you're just kind of in the zone and everythings flowing nicely so you don't look at chat mid-dungeon. I know I don't unless I'm kind of expecting to see something there.

So, first off. If you happen to see this, sorry about that. I noticed the first message which I thought was about the first room and I simply didn't see the other ones. Things were running along smoothly so I didn't really even think of looking at it. Just listening to that nice jazz and dodging AOEs while trying to put out as much of my own as I can.

I also want to say, relax a bit. I didn't see your protests but you clearly can do those pulls so just chill out a little. It's only going to get easier as people get more tome and primal gear. Challenging dungeons are a rare treat. Not that I would've purposefully showed that treat down your throat had I noticed but still, enjoy it while it lasts.

There's always about one edgelord ranged dps that's gotta stand 10 miles away from the group and my aoe heals, i love to yoink them back into the party.

I think there’s a difference between tunneling and “forgetting” to do something, and these healers that insist they don’t have to deal damage because “I’m a healer, not a DPS”. The latter was definitely the vibe I was getting from the post you responded to.

Yeah. I agree. I just didn't feel up to being confrontational about it or anything. I disagree heavily with Healers not DPSing but there are already a ton of people here expressing that and I was just wondering their reason as to why they do it and they answered.

I could have gone at them for stating that they are a healer and not a dps, but I decided against it because its tired and it isn't going to change anything, as already shown by the other responses she received. Sadly.

Personally a ranged dps standing in Africa is how I know they are gonna be pretty bad because anyone who runs alliance or raids/savage a lot knows well enough to stand near the healer and that melee range isn't instant death!

Or the healer was still trying to figure their rotation and how to optimize. I'm not going to assume that someone is bad or lazy because they dont want big pulls. To me it shows more of an unsure of skill and uncertainty of the dungeoun in question. Some people are pretty gunshy when healing others not so much. But to outright denounce the healer as bad and lazy without knowing the situation is outright showing that you have no thought for others outside of yourself.

Well, first off, Healers don't really have a "rotation".

Secondly, it obviously wasn't that bad because they survived until the last set of mobs before the boss. And the tank was the only one who was downed and was rezzed immediately. Meaning that the healer, most likely, wasn't comfortable but actually had the ability to heal it, or were lazy and didn't want too.

Happened way more than I expected it to (and was very friendly on occasion), and made things way smoother and more enjoyable overall
