On subject, but kinda off subject but I'm curious as to why BRDs can no longer shoot straight (Straight Shot) but have to have luck (Procs) in order to do it. Is the constant migraines the WoL get affecting it's aiming ability or am I reading waaay too much into it? Maybe it will make sense once I'm capped but I just wonder about the decision and direction the dev team chose to go in.

This would at least explain why we lost so many skills/spells in what feels like a random way.

They actually addressed why they removed Straight Shot: apparently some players were finding it “too difficult” to upkeep the 30 second crit buff it gave us, and they wanted to “simplify” things for those players. I am not kidding—they actually said that’s why they did it during the PLL about the job changes.

Wow, and I played bard in stormblood because it was one of the more simple classes :V
I don't like how the classes have been made more simple,
and yet, after my experiences of this patch so far, maybe the playerbase needs it that simple. The playerbase is worse than I remember :/
There are still people who do actions after they are rezzed and die right after they raise because of it, instead of waiting a second for heals, and when there was an A rank that uses cleaves while rotating, and so many couldn't rotate with it.

To be fair, nothing in the game tells you that you've a small invincibility window after being raised, and nothing tells you that actions other than walking will cancel that window. It's something you have to be told by other players, or discover accidentally and then realise that this is going on instead of ascribing it to luck.
