Free Fantasia & Shadow Bringers

Pretty sure you get a Fantasia for clearing ARR, which meant it wouldn't have been clearable until the last patch before HW, which also means you got a Fantasia for essentially just getting the normal HW, as you were clearly going to continue playing at that point.

But I'm surprised everyone trolling 1 person didn't know that. Theres the fantasia for heavensward essentially without buying the CE

Maybe watch the "Knows these things" comment before you google "everything" and not just the answer you want.

I'd say not very random since not many exist, FYI. And they wanted a picture, I supplied it. And I wasn't wrong either, you defending them attacking others is what's wrong.

I joined during the 1.0 beta after creating a Twitter JUST to get the access key from the SE giveaway at the time. I've literally been here since the beginning. My highest is still only a 66 DRK. Why? Sometimes life gets in the way of playing a game for hours a day, especially when you work 79 hrs a week.

That wasn't always the case. That was changed when they changed how vet rewards worked.

There was something other than even completion that gave it; IIRC, it might have been the second month consecutive of the original vet rewards (along with the Ahriman and Fat Chocobo) from 2.0 launch, as I have one on every character and do not have the CE of HW (just checked MogStation). I also only played 3 months, so it was within that time frame, and i only hit level 34 on my character back then. So that's probably what he's referring to since he would have been here then too, and gives us a time frame to narrow down if anyone is so interested.

8 is the maximum characters that can be created in a World. If we had a maximum of 9 or 10 I would just create a new character, support my new character with HQ crafted gear, gil, housing, etc through the terrific journey that is FFXIV. Instead, I'm playing FFXIV: Shadow Bringers while under a RL "negative" status effect.

It's no big deal, I will purchase a Fantasia. But I'm greatly disappointed that we have to do that. Just caught me by surprise is all and I'm greatly angered and offended.

I truly thought that we were getting one. Even told friends about it. I'll have to figure out where I thought that I heard that we were. That is disappointing.

You need to cut that crap out! Don't share unverified information with your friends. There was never a mention of a fantasia in any of the promotional releases or interviews. So don't make information up, share it, and then get frustrated that your lies weren't true.

You need to take a step back. LEARN from this. Realize that unless you can actually verify something is true--you shouldn't be spreading rumors willy-nilly. You should take responsibility for the information you share.

Remember, sharing information you can't confirm can be the same as lying. So just stop lying. If you're unsure about something--then say "There might be," or "there could be." Never make a definitive statement if you can't confirm it. It's always better to admit that you might not be certain about something than to straight out lie about it. Especially to friends and family you trust. You don't want to betray their trust by spreading rumors.

Note: I don't want to sound harsh, but people just bold-face lying about stuff is really annoying. I know it's not 'intentional' lying when you pass around a rumor. But there's some responsibility required in verifying that kind of information. So while it could be an 'honest mistake.' if someone goes around life lying all the time--it can have incredibly consequences for everyone involved. And lying is just a good habit to break, and be aware of if someone is a casual/habitual liar. Break the cycle!

Thank you for pointing that out. The aesthetics are one of the most important things to me in this game. Yoshi/SE? Surprise us again with 1 Fantasia for every Collectors Edition purchase.

If we won't get a free fantasia, that's one less reason for me to change to that new race. Simple like that.

S-E don't have any obligation to give players a free fantasia to change race just because they just released a couple of new races. But we don't have obligation to buy that item just because S-E released new races.

It's more like an incentive system: If S-E give people the means (fantasia potion) for free, more people will change race. If they don't, less people will switch to new races.

That's what I meant, though I didn't go into detail. The vet reward (Which was 1 month, as I recall...Supremely low) gave a Fantasia, until they reworked how the Vet rewards worked, then they moved the Fantasia into Praetorium so that people didn't lose that freebie.
