

I recall RDM starting at level 30, so your rotation would be VAII/VTII and...dualcasted VAII/VTII again...or scatter, depending on your mana. I agree though scatter feels a bit pointless.


I'm not deep into RDM, and no theorycrafter or anything, so this is the one thorn that stood out to me for what I'm familiar with. Scatter looked 100% useless until it upgrades to Impact. I can see why it exists, mostly for that upgrade. But. Until then, seems like its only real use is in, like, synced Sastasha, before you've got both of the other spells maybe?
I guess it's kinda nice that the lower level AoE rotation is a little more than "Scatter, repeat." But that is also kinda a long time for a spell to sit useless on the hotbar.
Editing since posting died down: Seems that Aero/Thunder 2 has 100 potency below... Idk, I'm 63, so, at least that long. So, problem solved, Scatter is meant to be Dualcast as you alternate between the two elementals.

in st Jolt > thunder / aero > (fire / stone)
in aoe u use the elemental spells and use the dualcast on impact :P
