I wanted another healing spell as a red mage,

I had an idea for an adjustment to Vercure I really liked.
Overall though, if we do get a healing ability, it should be an ability and not a spell. A spell won't get used for anything short of downtime. An ability we could use our ample weave time like we did with apoc and Erase. [I would have really liked to keep erase and apoc. Buffing Erase to like 300 potency and having it crit on a DOT cleanse. p-p]


So I play RDM but I am not a raider or anything so make of that what you will. When I saw reprise on the new job guide I kind of thought, well when should I even use this? It wasn't an addition to any kind of combo and it eats up our mana resource which would almost always be better spend actually running our melee combo, so I just kind of think it's going to sit on the hot bar unless maybe I mess up the mana before manafication and need to burn some. It just seems like a strange thing to waste a new skill spot on when they could have put anything in there.

Similar feeling in its current state, compared to its media tour introduction. I have the same rage for Engagement being a 72 skill instead of a level 40 one, with a new 72 skill to replace it.So I play RDM but I am not a raider or anything so make of that what you will. Can anyone shed some light on RDM for 5.0 PVP in FL?
In 4.0 compared to a melee (premade melee anyway) a rdm was a mere joke, but Ive been waiting to jump on the rdm wagon but I was wondering how it runs in FL now.
My avg on 4.0 nin pvp was anywhere from 350 to 550k on “average”, with spikes to 680 on REAL good matches.
Is this something rdm can do in 5.0? I really want rdm to be the new top dog but I have doubts.

Something I've noticed about RDM is that they've kept the dualcast raise but now your mana goes away very fast. You really need to keep spamming lucid dreaming to keep up with the mana only to do DPS and even then it ends up sinking. I'm not terribly fond of that...
What rotation do we use for RDM aoe, I been doing verathunder 2 into impact then veraaero 2 or whatever it's called into impact, is that correct?
Ty guys for the tips, one last question though, before I start spamming minuolette or whatever it's called for my RDM air, how much Mana should I have, like maybe 100/90?
