My main complaint about it is these people who have purchased *entire wards* on crowded servers, making it impossible for any newcomer to get a house. A lot of us worked *hard* to save up the cash for a house, only to never have a chance to get one just because we haven't been playing since beta. It's kinda crappy.

Most multi home owners bought homes for alts because they couldn't even use a mender in the house of their main. Had SE allowed alts to share housing I'm sure most wouldn't have bothered buying a second home. They still haven't fixed that although now alts can't buy a house and can't even share one.

Those houses by the was were most likely puschased at a time when housing was plentiful like some servers today have 100's of homes for sale atm. SE needs to address the housing issue for everyone and taking it out on people who did nothing but follow the rules shouldn't be an answer.

Personally, my answer for this [by the by my thinking that they make these multi-home owners abide by the same rules as everyone else was designed in my mind as a temporary measure to make more housing available until they implemented this] was semi-instanced ward maps. set up *kinda* like the apartments, only full maps. Each apartment can have up to 90 instances, to my understanding. If they set the wards up like *that*, semi-instanced, you could have up to 90 60-house wards in each housing area, and sure, you'd need to deal with a bit of load time unless someone else was already in the ward, but it'd solve a great deal of the housing crunch.
