    To be honest, kinda glad shield swipe is gone, many instances where I'd mash the button and skill would get returned then unproc, which has happened more often than I liked, leaving me thinking 'really'.
    But as I see it we're getting intervene in shield swipes place, shield swipe being on 100 potency, 15sec CD, while intervene is 200 potency, 30sec CD, personally think it balances out if not more reliable in damage. Of course new damage formula and potency are subject to changes, but on paper it feels like swapping shield swipe for intervene.

    And then they made tanking and healing too easy, and DPS too important, so the topgame meta became doing as little of your job as you can while still managing it, and putting everything else into DPS.

    So you kind of have to shrug your shoulders in confusion when Yoshi P complains about it.

    Why does no one ever mention the Pacify effect which prevents enemies from using skills, giving Paladin an effective second chance to block AoE attacks? Granted, it's not effective on most bosses, but the number of times it's helped in dungeon runs are innumerable. Having an off-GCD attack was always good on its own, but Pacifying a Mamool-Ja readying Overpower or something felt great and saved me from having to physically dodge.

    Because due to the changes made by SE almost all the traditional tanks are gone. Now we are left with the dps wannabes. To these people defensive or interupt abilities don't matter, all they see is damage.
