Why do you think we made Deliverance an action instead of allowing Wrath stacks outside of Defiance? Or why we have so many AoE combos that amount to simply <+AoE ppgcd, but clunkier and with an extra serving of button bloat>? There are relatively few creative endeavors outside of reductionism they're willing to undertake in a given expansion's job changes, rarely more than one net gain per job, if that.

The rest they try to make up for in what amounts solely to animations, but then they feel they have to commit to that illusion of true addition with added button count which in turn excuses removing actual complexity from jobs elsewhere in their kits.
