    So... Hagakure was too much brain power...

    On that matter, it puzzles me why Senei is like it'll be...
    I mean, the 1250 potency is juicy and actually stronger than a Kaiten Midare, but did it have to be shared with Guren?
    Wouldn't it have been nicer to just give Guren the 1250 potency on 1st target and a % less on 2nd and on and give Senei another non-recast shared usage? Like a "You deal more damage to the target you hit with this" kind of effect with some 500 potency or so.
    Because if we think about it, a shared recast skill where the only difference is the potency and number of targets when they already have this "1st target gets hit for full amount and the rest for much less" thing working... isn't it like reselling something they already had and masking it as "new"? That seems kinda scammy :/

    Why do you think we made Deliverance an action instead of allowing Wrath stacks outside of Defiance? Or why we have so many AoE combos that amount to simply <+AoE ppgcd, but clunkier and with an extra serving of button bloat>? There are relatively few creative endeavors outside of reductionism they're willing to undertake in a given expansion's job changes, rarely more than one net gain per job, if that.

    The rest they try to make up for in what amounts solely to animations, but then they feel they have to commit to that illusion of true addition with added button count which in turn excuses removing actual complexity from jobs elsewhere in their kits.

    I was thinking more of a mechanical reason rather than anything else. Maybe in a fight we'll need to actually not kill the adds while fighting the boss, or kill one specific add in a group of many. They added a single target Flare to BLM too, so it seems that Guren and Flare where maybe too much of a risk in this type of scenario... But that's my take on the subject, take that with a grain of salt.
