Absolutely not.
These sound *exactly* like Mists of Pandaria Challenge Dungeons, which I could not stand.
If there were no timer, and one could queue into them solo in DF with a reasonable expectation of finishing it ... still only a maybe.

"I don't like it so you can't have it."
This attitude needs to be routed out.
Normally, I would agree, but Yoshida himself has said if they were to work on something new, they would have to sacrifice on something else. So at least for this game, it is absolutely necessary for each player to support what they support and to be against what they have no interest in doing unless they could be assured it would not impact their choice of activity negatively.
Except the question was "Would YOU run them?"
I'm fine with there being content in the game I have absolutely zero interest in doing. There's quite a lot of it, actually: Eureka, PotD, Ultimate fights, Lords of Verminion, and so on.
I only get angry when they clearly detract from the core game. So I loathe Eureka for removing an actual relic questline from Stormblood, and sucking up so much dev time we lost a bunch of dungeons and story. But Ultimate is fine with me.
