And now should i attempt to kick them or leave them? Because seriously there are real bots running dungeons and i have probably meet a ton of them on my way, these usually came in, dont write anything in chat and just get their rear carried by my team. If SE wont fix the bots issues i am going to start kicking suspicious ones because its becoming to get ridiculous.

Bots in duty finder are pretty easy to pick out from their weird but overly consistent movement patterns.

They obviously don't talk, but when they're following the party, you'll notice that they only move whenever the tank gets a certain distance away from them and they'll move exactly to where they were last, meaning they'll try to stand directly on top of you if you're moving slowly.

In PotD, they're prone to getting stuck on walls and will always just camp out on top of the portal once it's been located and make no effort to help with activating it.

    Seen them.
They were dying to mechanics on the bosses in dungeons, it was hands down, the stupidiest thing i have seen. The worst thing about it is that, they are keeping you hostage because they are not interacting with the gear dropped, not passing, not greedying, nothing.

10:00 pm cst and dozens level 1-5 Thaumaturge bots erupting out of the Quicksand and scorching the earth across Central Thanalan on Spriggan now. Don't plan on getting your lvl 1 kills outside the gates there anytime soon.

    Pretty much this.
They only exist because there is a market for it. That's also why they are much rarer on Japanese servers. Not because the team is Japanese and acts quicker on them, but because people who BUY are much much more limited.
If you remove the buyers, the sellers won't bother.

Seemingly all of the JP servers have at least one gil farming FC on them still (Judging from a cursory glance at their FC rankings), but there's definitely less of them then on the US/EU servers.

I suppose it's done as a "just in case" thing.

If people aren't buying Gil because of the risk involved, then the Bots will not be making much Money! Currently there isn't any risk, obviously.
I don't think SE is in much of a hurry to lower their player count and lose customers for what basically amounts to a non-issue. Thousands of people across all regions have bought gil since the game launched and it hasn't affected me at all.

So far the only solution that actually works, proven by most MMOs out there, even the other top MMOs (WoW, GW2, kinda ESO, OSRS) is to establish a RMT market between players where the money goes to SE instead of going to fund more bots, but people who only play 14 or 11 usually shudder when this is suggested at all.

It's not so much the gil-selling that's the issue as it is the fact that the bots create a huge amount of server traffic, to the point where you can't even get into the instances they're farming much of the time.

When Stormblood launched the queues for many servers were up to 90 minutes just to log on. Hopefully will not be that bad this time around but the bot population is certainly a factor in that queue.

Your post is very important. I am sure Square is completely unaware of any bots in the game.
