I wouldn’t consider Highlanders or Au Ra ‘overbuff’, simple as. You could say it of Hrothgar or Roes, but they’re much larger and, as Theodric said, no one’s really asking for that. The only thing is that different people understand "well-built" differently. For some it is Miqo's athletism (who are supposed to be hunters so actually their building is suitable), for some it is Auri fierce (which is suitable as well because they are steppe warriors) and for some it is just mountain of meat as Highlanders on 100 muscles slider (which is probably suitable as well, but jungles people are merely like this and here we also fall to the lore). ツ
For understanding, hunting from shadows doesn't mean you need to be buffed. You need to have completely other features such as flexibility and speed and sharp hearing and vision for example and it will lead to strong legs at least in case with speed, but not necessarily to big abs. More than this, due to the food restrictions your body probably would be quite fragile at first glance, but very solid in fact. Look at asian martial arters - they are, mostly, look rather... small near to guys who spend a lot of time in gym. But in fact I would argue who will win in real battle. Muscles are not everything so I don't get why people are so obsessed with idea to have more overbuffed options when we get one just in a few days. /rises eyerbow/ Though, these are their preferences, can't judge.
Anyway, SE seem to have some idea about their concept, so it's up to them. I would be okay with anything what they will create, because it's their child, not ours, and they know better how to do them.
