If you're not a WoW player, how can you claim that WoW is too easy now? Maybe you should change the thread's title? If you don't play WoW, then you have no way of knowing whether the game's current trajectory is the same as WoW's.
'There is challenging content that not event 10% of the community has cleared. He should focus on that before saying the game is too easy.
You entire point was predicated on classic hype. Come back three months after classic is out and we can talk about how many people want that.
I'd relax on the insult D: As from what I've seen noone is hurt by your opinion.. Alot of people disagree with it... but thats not hurt. That's just a different side of the coin. The reason I asked if you did anything higher or read the dutyfinder thread was making normal dungeons harder wouldn't do anything. Rath is one of the hardest fights in the game that's not UwU and hardly anyone does it. I LOVE that fight, I love the fact you ONLY get 3 lives, but most of the people in this game don't and it's kindof dead content. Just like those harder dungeons you want will be dead cause noone REALLY wants harder content. I believe the peole that ASK for it don't really want hard content... they just want content to be gated from everyone else. And like it or not.. noone is going to take your request seriously unless you got both ultimate fights cleared, ALL of avs cleared on all characters and perform at the highest level. Thats just the way it is cause otherwise if all you done is the 24 man and you're asking for harder content..and haven't cleared what we have.. ye---ah. :CA few things A: I'm not a WoW player, though I did play Vanilla and TBC, if people bothered to actually read the OP they would see that.
I'm sorry some people's feelings seem to be hurt via my opinions, but there are plenty of people who want more challenge in the day to day mechanics of the game. No one bothered to refute my point of sitting in the city and waiting in line for something to do.
Don't be mad, I'm not saying the game isn't fun, I am saying it could be MORE fun if there was MORE challenge.
Yes there is SOME challenge art the very tip of the game, but the other 90% requires little to no communication and thus builds little to no community.
I guess if this is your first MMO you wouldn't understand.
I am played WoW for years, the only thing that made wow hard was factions trying to murder you, if you were the right level and had gear nothing can beat you in WoW when you fight other players that was real challenge cause they would run get their alliance members to come back and fight you if you camped their soul.
depending on if you chose the right server one with pvp in it and easy mode pve
I thought about going back but I don't have a PC I used to but it fried and I am saving for a new one.
I heard about the going back to the past stuff they've been talking about so i am kinda interested.
I don't know...
With the Trusts System coming in ShB, I hope they utilize it to be able to make Dungeons/Normal Trials a little bit harder. Like, not Super-Elite-Savage-Ultimate-Mega-Heroic difficulty. But something that offers at least some resistance to being plowed through. With the backup that "Muh Story" people who managed to boot up the game seemingly by mere chance as opposed to actually knowing what the heck they were doing, would be still able to progress utilizing Trusts.
While also including more mid-core stuff for end-game.
I mean, ideally, I'd love for dungeons to feel more like dungeons, not mad dashes through a few loot boxes... Like, I'd rather run 1 epic hour long dungeon with appropriate rewards and some level of challenge other than "Mass pull and unga bunga" than spam out 6x 10 minute zerg fests where my brain is melting through pure tedium...
But alas, this won't happen, because Casuls and their "OMG I work 4 jobs with 10 hour shifts per day and am at the gym 40 hours every day so I only get 0.3s to play video games, why should I be excluded from content!" whining...
OK so we are talking age. I played EQ when I was 20 yrs old. that was back in 99 it was a brand new game for reference and what got me hooked on MMOs since then I have played I don't even know how many cuse now I'm old. In ALL that time in my experience very seldom was there any communication with anyone other than guild mates and RL friends.A few things A: I'm not a WoW player, though I did play Vanilla and TBC, if people bothered to actually read the OP they would see that.

As to waiting in line. Well that's normal even back in the stone age of MMOs you had to wait. wait for someone to need your class wait for guild mates to come on line wait for help to finish your epic. MMOs are about waiting and grinding.
Reading the replies no one is mad or hurt they are expressing opinions that are counter to yours. I get the impression you felt your OP would be unpopular, Don't be shocked if it was.
As someone that's been playing WoW long enough to see it rise and fall, this is false. The Game isnt even close to approaching WoWs decline.
FFXIV has always had a issue with its difficulty curve. This isn't something recent not does it have anything to do with WoW refugees.
The general forums loves its hyperbole I suppose.
When he clears it and comes back saying the everyday content is tuned to be too easy, people will tell him "well of course, you are an ultimate raider and this content is for casuals". Lets not shut down the conversation by gatekeeping. Everyone who does dungeons should be able to give feedback on them.

I was gonna stay out of this since I personally don't care about Savage and Ultimate content, but this comment is utterly ridiculous. You act like people who have other priorities beyond playing a video game aren't allowed to enjoy what time they can dedicate to playing this one. If the game is too tedious for you because all of us 'Casuals' are making it boring then go somewhere else.
