I wish I had known about the pay now thing. The original email said a few days before release it would be charged, but it's getting charged the 7th for me. I mean, it's fine, but not ideal. My paycheck comes in on the 15th and that's the week I was planning on. If they want to say a few days, they should stick to it.





A few days before shipping. Not release. You may see these shipping out soon, they want people to have them before release to avoid issues they've had in the past, where people didn't get their orders in time and the early access codes expired, making them unable to play.
Got a mail today and it said 06/06/19
"As part of this preparation, we will begin charging your preorder on 6/6/2019 by using the payment details that you provided during checkout."
"If by chance the initial payment does not go through, we will make additional attempts on the 6/12/2019, 6/14/2019 and 6/17/2019. Should payment fail on the final attempt, we will unfortunately have to cancel the order."
"Your order should ship out between 6/24/2019 and 6/28/2019 and should arrive around the release day of 7/2/2019. "

Not sure how it works on the other stores, but in the EU store, under your orders, right side of the screen there should be a button for "debit now" which just charges your card and basically takes the payment there and then so you do not have to wait for it.



I just got a second email saying the charge dates were wrong. It says the actual dates are:
"Dear customer,
You have received an email from us recently informing you about the charging dates of your preorder for FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Shadowbringers, however unfortunately these dates have been incorrect. Please note the following correct dates for the charging attempts from us:
1st attempt: 10/06/2019
2nd attempt: 12/06/2019
3rd attempt: 14/06/2019
4th attempt: 17/06/2019
Please also see the correct shipping dates below:
Between 24/06/2019 and 28/06/2019
We apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Some people in NA are starting to get charged by Square Enix so if you haven't received an email similar to the ones received above I would be prepared to get charged.
