I think some of you are overreacting over the littlest things. Try running a dungeon with a tank that would rather wear DoM gear so he can RP as a legend of zelda character.

Well from that post, at least he was honest.
If it was simply "I just don't have anything else." then the tiny bit of DPS lost
in a normal dungeon is a little much. Really not that serious.
I like running dungeons to try and get better gear then buying it but
dunno much else from that post, coulda been fundings but yeah.
If a player can't afford npc gear, then they're still not ready for group content.Well from that post, at least he was honest.

If you can't afford to level a different job, then it's time to learn how to earn gil before continuing.
Sorry to be so callous, but I have zero sympathy for players that think so much of themselves they feel a party is obligated to help them without putting in anything themselves.
Wow great way to misreprisent, Yes fun is subjective that's why I said that. Some people play casual might not gear up optimal, they might forgot, switched classes, farming for pieces. But you are so unempathetic that you ruin their fun because it might be not the fastes dungeon run? I really hope you are not a mentor but you do you whatever. I never said you can't tell them they are not playing the optimal way, you should but you think it just kicking them will help? No they queue again and become someone elses problem and might become resistend against future advice or drop out because getting kicked does not feel nice.
Their (singular) fun does not matter against the will of the party they are running with.Wow great way to misreprisent, Yes fun is subjective that's why I said that. For accessories, which have like 1 point of physical and magic defense at most, wouldn't it make more sense to equip cheap, low level accessories than high level accessories of a different type of stat? If you're a DEX dps, 15 points of DEX is better than 0 points of DEX. Sure, you might still be kicked for being undergeared, but it's better than nothing....
No, I'm not a mentor, that system was sullied the day it made live and it turned out people just wanted the pretty crown and then act like they know something, when we all know mentors generally are not experts in anything.
And when it comes to things, I just agreed with the OPs point, you somehow did twist it so that I'm a heartless person with no tolerance for mistakes and so on.![]()
Okay, I might went overbored with that side comment. Let's agree to disagree on the main topic. I just feel like there are some people who have no patience for others and kick for minor issues. I apologise that I painted you in that picture as well. No, I'm not a mentor, that system was sullied the day it made live and it turned out people just wanted the pretty crown and then act like they know something, when we all know mentors generally are not experts in anything.
