If what you are saying is true, then its pretty shitty of them to kick you out for using a different pet (Titan, I can understand), sadly like most have already said, untill we hear from the other players, one can not judge.

They were within their right to kick you out, via the playstyle rule. Best to just move on and pray you dont meet them again.

This sort of person is why it's important to flatly kick people from the party, with no communication beforehand.

So yeah gonna continue on the trend here. Most players won't kick without a reason. If that reason is that you were slowing them down because you are playing badly that happens sometimes. Some people are also a little more sensitive than others though. I'm a mentor in game and I've been kicked for as small of things as giving minor advice. It's a difference in play style and it happens. My advice is that if you don't know your class ask for advice from players you know that play the class or join the novice network there are resources you can use. Post about level 50 the game does increase in difficulty just slightly and then it does it at again at 60 and 70. You will have to adapt.

Well they know parsers are a no go .. so if they admit to it .. not really my problem.

You're right. No one person is above their group, so if the group decides to ostracize someone that refuses to work with the group then good riddance to that individual.
