And I respectfully disagree. They are supposed to be warriors, not pretty boys. You have midlander, au ra, miqo'te, and lalafell if you want to be androgynous/feminine. Yes, au ra can look very feminine if done correctly. While I'm all for more options, I don't want them to be turned into a fetish race like miqo'te.

Giving them feminine options doesn't make it a "fetish" race. It just gives them more personality and options. I think you may be worrying a bit too much about what other people do with their characters.

Handsome/elegent is fine. But the from my understanding, he wants nothing but masculine faces for mViera. But why would more options be bad? If they have nothing but masculine faces to choose from, that's just sad and boring. And this isn't about pandering to a group, its about giving mViera options to choose from.

I said I would prefer masculine faces, yes. I'm all for more options but they don't have to be feminine. Elegance doesn't equal feminine.

lol, yes, I did. I wanted to try this face a bit to see if I like it. But I can't seem to decide which one I like better. We'll see if I go back with my previous option.

PS: I'm think I may actually be going back to my previous face anyway though. One thing I noticed about this face is that it looks squished together compared to the other midlander faces.

PSS: I ended up going back to my old face. It was more even looking and less squinchy. I suppose it'll update my forum icon after a while.

Yeah, my issue with it is that you tend to end up with one face that just ends up looking really "off" given the physique in question. It'd be great if they took an option closer to Highlanders, one nearer to Au Ra and maybe one nearer to Elezen, in each case taken from the top tier of their face picks. It's usually the case that they'll add a softer option, but I hope it's in the form of a slightly narrower jawline rather than the putty face options they put in e.g. for Elezen.

Ok, well, maybe this is another instance of me talking circles around someone. I'm fine with elegant options, even if they are still masculine, as long as I get some elegance to work with. I just don't want nothing but hyper masculine options. I'm ok with some options like that, but just something elegant alongside those.

And that is where I'll have to disagree with you. I want elegant face options not as a fetish, but because that is just the desired aesthetic I'm trying to achieve with a mViera character. Sure, some people make a character to oggle at some pixels, but the same could be said of literally any race in the game. But don't generalize everyone who wants elegant options as fetishist, that's just rude.

PS: I also don't understand the people who make a character to oggle at since "sexy" simply doesn't exist in this game. There isn't even a butt slider in this game, the best you can hope to achieve is "cute" or "handsome".

I know exactly what you're talking about. It seems every race has a "yikes" face and I'm hoping they avoid it with the viera. Females seemed to have good faces, a little same ish but good.

I’m just saying a face that looks more natural and neutral so the player can decide. I’m okay if the only face options are masculine but I’m just saying I don’t want all face options like highlander because I personally don’t like it they are too much “manly” for me
