Im all for healers giving out their early opinions on what they see if they present them as opinions and reactions based on limited information and previous experiences and recurring cycles throughout this game. But please stop insulting the dev team by saying they dont listen to their fan base.
They actually do more to listen to their fanbase than most of you give them credit for. The people upset by the changes you meet while it may seem like a lot. In actuality its more likely a fraction of a percent up to maybe a percent. This forum the official subreddit and the people you meet in game is not the majority. In fact while there is some rumblings of concern in the JP forums most are pretty accepting of things for now. At least until they have more facts by experiencing it themselves.
Which is something we should be doing ourselves. I am not saying shut up and smile and take it without saying a word. Just, put your feedback out as YOUR personal feeling based on info that you have seen, and your personal opinions. Stop presenting these as hard facts. They arent nor can they be. Because what information you got is from a two month old development build. A ton can change before launch and much has probably changed in the month and a half between that build and the build they have now a few days after media tour.
I think you're vastly overestimating how much can change in 2 months. A lot of these would need to be rebuilt from the ground up.Im all for healers giving out their early opinions on what they see if they present them as opinions and reactions based on limited information and previous experiences and recurring cycles throughout this game. Also, there's a thing called sample sizes. Yeah, I'm only talking to a minority of the playerbase. But you're implying that literally all the people I don't talk to LOVE these changes, I simply have the bad luck to only meet the sour apples.
Logic isn't welcome hereI think you're vastly overestimating how much can change in 2 months. A lot of these would need to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Thats not what i am suggesting at all thats an extreme tally of what i am actually saying. Yes the feedback needs to begin but do so by stating facts and not assuming everyone is with you. Theres no hard factual basis for what the majority is for either side for or against or even indifferent.I think you're vastly overestimating how much can change in 2 months. As for the overestimating. No i know that these changes will take time but to revert changes reverts the arguments back to what they have always been. To be clear. I am a machinist main, believe me I know how long changes can take to happen. I waited two years through stormblood for my favorite job not to be a jank clunky dumpster fire. That's why I got into healing more throughout stormblood.
Scholars yes have taken a pretty severe blow to their dps core and no assurances they will have to heal anymore than what they need to. And unless those changes to the battle system are made something does need to be addressed about their concerns. But you play healer to heal so i can understand adding a bit more depth in the dps adding a few back couldnt hurt
Astro and the card issues. First and foremost. Lets all remember astro cards have never been balanced. Theres a clear winner a distant second place and then lightyears between those two and the rest. Spread and royal road and time dialation caused astro to be the problem child of the healer corps. The seal system could be interesting additional depth but everything being flat balances not exactly the best solution.
Whm- no rdps utility. Still and this is a problem that needs to be addressed. Bravery and faith are two ive felt could fit whm really well..
So yes either content needs to be redesigned to refocus healers on healing or healers need some tweaks to make them feel a bit better. Screaming the sky is falling is not a solution. Be rationale with feedback. And speak for yourself not others. If others want their voices heard they can come do it themselves they dont need you to do it for them

Hiya.
I watched the credits. I suggest you do too.
SE's class design team is quite literally half the size of any comparable MMO that I can get accurate staff and role counts for. It's also worth noting that this team of 4 has remained unchanged from ARR.
Did you know that there are as many voice actors per major character as there are class designers in total within this team?
This isn't conjecture. This isn't me pulling out theories and spinning lies.
These are simple and clear facts that you can go and see for yourself (https://www.mobygames.com/game/windo...mblood/credits).
But you won't. Because all you are interested in is trying to push this strange success story agenda of yours.
Ps fun fact, can't really call me an armchair dev when I've got a couple of titles to my name (World builder for the Guildford/Chertsey era of Bullfrog).

How would you know how “amazing” the changes are compared to what healers currently offer? You have a level 7 CNJ, no SCH, and a level 44 AST. Try actually playing your healers at level 70 the way they are now, and then talk about the state of affairs for ShB healers. There are several career healers that are upset about these changes—people that actually play the jobs they are concerned about on a regular basis in various types of content, including high-end content. I’ll listen to their voices before someone who doesn’t actually play the role...Here we go again. Same ol thread again. More armchair devs trying to give "feedback" when they do not even know what they are talking about. The changes are amazing yet people still want to complain. Healers are in such a good spot that more people are willinging to give it a chance. Bascially these post boil down to: "i didnt get what i want, so devs dont know what they are doing." At least TRY the changes before you pretend you know what you are talking about.

Well be happy no 4 healer but great job balancing. Pretty sure they needed a new spot for SB mch job Designer and there whas space in the healer team and expect more white hole mechanics for healer.
