You're not seeing the point here. You're taking someone and labeling them and putting them in with a group of other people who have a mental disability that they were born with and have no way to rectify. You're mocking a group of people who have no control over what happened to them.

I can understand 8 year olds doing this because they don't know better but as a teenager or adult you know better.

What is it with you people that are perfectly healthy taking a stand for those that have autism which ironically make jokes about the fact that they have autism?

I've seen far more people that have a twisted morality "take a stand" for people who have autism or cancer or various other diseases, while most of the people I met that actually HAVE that disease...They don't care, they joke about it, they mock it, they don't care if others joke about it.

Can we stop with the Politically Correct fiasco now or do we keep going until everything becomes a safe space where people aren't allowed to say anything for fear of some cupcake somewhere being offended? We're already there to a degree, most of the people I know ingame refuse to use the ingame chat because they don't want to offend someone and get reported for it. So we chill on discord instead.

Is this what you want? People being afraid to speak because everyone gets so incredibly easily offended so we use other platforms and only talk among ourselves? Is this your idea of a healthy community?

So that makes it ok? That means some random stranger is exactly like your best friend and can joke about it? That's like saying "I can't be racist because I have a friend who is black".

Some might joke about it and others might not like it. You should know that you should error on the side that someone might take offence and just not use derogatory terms around people you don't personally know.

Other people's conversations are none of your business, in the first place. If you take offense to what someone says, you have the option to leave. It's your choice to be offended and they certainly aren't attempting to offend you on purpose.

If someone calls me a "retard" they are most certainly are attempting to offend me and label me. I have every right to police and report that. That's what I'm referring to here. In short if you call people names and get your account suspended over it, you have no right to be upset over it as you brought it on yourself.

I mean, once you voice those conversations in a public setting like a chat channel, they're definitely policable. that's almost entirely why they changed the policy however many months ago.
