    So much for DRK being the poster boy of Shadowbringers, GNB is basically a better DRK for damage mitigation and they have better skills overall. Square doesn't seem to know how to balance jobs and instead decides to just make other tanks have better versions of existing skills. Delirium is not a fun ability and having to spam Bloodspiller is not gonna be fun, its just a , "Let me pretend to be a weaker WAR." ability. I'd honestly prefer SB DRK to ShB DRK. We also lost our dungeon heal ability with Abyssal Drain, we could spam it with Dark Arts and stay topped off with the help of a Regan and The Blackest Night.

    All in all DRK seems to be underwhelming and still the worst tank, guess I'm switching over to GNB since they are basically better in everyway to a DRK.

    Very true! I didn't see Gun skills, the Heart of Stone is extremely OP over the other tanks abilities.

    I am trying to be optimistic since we was left behind in 4.X.

    We only will se the true potencial when the XP hits and see for ourselves. And yes, I am very worried to be left behind again. =(

    Take what is shown in those with a grain of salt since I too noticed apparent errors in what was being displayed, such as the missing ability you pointed out as well as potentially incorrect info on the ability tooltips like WARs IB description still referencing Defiance and Deliverance.

    Just use them as well as other sources such as the previously posted videos to paste together an idea of what the jobs will be on 5.0 release.

    I feel like Power Slash should have stayed, they could have had it combo from Syphon Strike and refresh the Darkside timer or some other effect.

    I'm quite baffled at the moment, I will still be playing DRK as my main but being quite bad in theory craft I have numerous point that I really don't understand such as :

    -ok dark arts became a timed ability like ninja huiton (not a problem for me) and it's useful for doing....what?
    -abyssal drain change is rather incomprehensible, which ability should take its place?
    -doesn't quietus at the moment give you an mp regen if used with dark arts? For what I saw now is only pure damage

    New Dark Arts is basically your reward for good TBN usage, giving you a free Flood/Edge to keep Darkside up.
    Unleash > Stalwart Soul combo. Abyssal Drain will simply be used when it can. Not going to get as much selfhealing this time around though.
    Quietus right now gives MP by default, Dark Arts just raises its damage. Shadowbringers Quietus just does damage, unless boosted by Delirium at which point we'll get MP again.

    Drk looks good to me its more about resource management which is more punishing here it looks like vs what we have now that is DA spam, I only have a few issues with Drks kit:

    -Dark Missionary only being magical damage to me is quite an oversight where GNB gets 15% for all damage
    -Dark Mind nerf was unwarranted (20% down from 30%)
    -Living Dead wasn't changed
    -Drk UI looks a little wonky/intrusive

    Other than that I'm really looking forward to Drk its gimmick looks fun, management looks fun, I'm waiting to get my hands on it until I really make a judgement call but I'll still level Drk to 70 first. GNB is a really close second for myself but Drk pulls ahead just with all these changes it looks great to me at least, as someone who really disliked SB Drk this makes me wanna play it more, I love TBN, I love the new Delirium, pretty excited.

    Back in HW DRK was so much fun i could not believe they let me play this job like all the time. It felt like something you would only be allowed to use for a few hours a week, as a reward for being a good boy.

    But now?

    Do we even have any cooldowns left? Conva gone, Anticipation gone, Dark Passengers AoE blind gone, Abyssal Drain spam gone... how am i supposed to mitigate those dungeon pulls? Dark Mind is useless for that, so all what is left is Rampart, Shadow Wall and TBN... great...

    And the aoe combo with Unleashed looks clunky and unfun as hell. Why can everyone and their mother swing their weapons around for aoe, except the guy with the gigantic sword? Okay, there is Quietus, but meh...

    At least Abyssal Drain spam was fun, because of the annoying sound. But oh well...


    Gunbreaker looks so much better...
