I think I'm not reading this right.
Tanks being complex? What?
My screen must be broken if I'm seeing that right.
Yeah, you guys aren't reading this correctly.
Saying something "hasn't been more complex than it is now" doesn't mean it IS complex, just that it's at it's most complex state.
RDM will be more complex in Shadowbringers than in Stormblood, but it's still going to be the least complex job in the game.
The posts above Seraphor prove my point. These kind are the kind that will probably have a problem with "Casualbringers".
Thank you, Sera, for having reading comprehension.
Erm... I main Warrior and with all the information currently available, I fail to see how it got more complex. Tanks were more complex during HW where we actually all had to manage a debuff and our bleed/s while keeping in eye out on our own burst windows. Now we get tools turned on automatically through a trait and it's more complex?

Managing enmity has become less complex for sure, but other job changes imply that our actual rotations will be more complex, basically shifting focus from enmity to DPS, and some DPS rotations can be far more complex than tanking currently is.
Whether this trade-off is equal or shifts more one way or the other won't be clear until the game is out.
Managing enmity never was complex to begin with. It was 3 GCDs in Defiance with Unchained if you DIDN'T have a Ninja. 0 if you had a Ninja with Shadewalker. You guys saw complexity where there was none. Our rotations were always about damage. Right now it's about maximising Beast Gauge gains to get more Fell Cleaves in. That's litterally it.Not entirely.

Lets put it this way.
SCH went from
HW: Bio, Miasma, Bio II, Bane, Energy Drain, Shadow Flare ,Ruin II, Broil, Miasma II, Blizzard II, Aero,
to
SB: Bio, Miasma, Bane, Energy Drain, Shadow Flare, Ruin II, Broil, Miasma II
to
ShB: Biloysis, Broil, Ruin II, Art of War (Can't believe we lost Bane. . . )
Such riveting gameplay (read: boring) Man, leveling like that is going to be such fun! Literally one dot and one filler spell.

Tanks aren't really getting more complex though, HW was more complex than SHB will be. With what we know of SHB so far, quite a few things got moved to Traits that previously we had to manage, now they are just there....at all times.Yeah, you guys aren't reading this correctly.

So...how is this more complex again? If anything it feels like the complete opposite. Managing enmity is basically out the window, you don't need to do it anymore, though i'm expecting some tanks to still have problems with enmity...somehow. They'll find a way.
Bard also lost a skill or two because apparently it was too hard to manage 2 DoTs and 1 buff. I think SCH lost a couple of skills as well. Pet skills got essentially removed and added as one button, yay complexity.
I fail to see how SHB will make anything more complex, if anything it makes everything be even simpler than it already is. And we are already at such a low level of complexity we will soon be below the bar itself and set a new standard for simplicity.
Have you seen the leaks (which, let's admit it, are pretty much a sure thing at this point) ?Tanks aren't really getting more complex though, HW was more complex than SHB will be. DRK now has to manage Darkside uptime via two skills that become free when TBN breaks (costs 1/3rd of your mana otherwise) and seems it is getting a damage window.
PLD has its Sword Oath stacks.
GNB has to manage it's Continuation combos via its ammos.
DPS rotations for tanks are getting at least a bit more involved across the board.
