They are "short" compared to the classic Viera. You have Lalafell, Midlanders, Miqo'te, and Au Ra for all your "I want to be the little girl" needs. Why do you need Viera to be short, too?
Also, the Feol Viera are not "smaller and thinner" than any other Viera. That's misinformation from a fanmade picture and not part of the story from the only game they made an appearance in, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
Nope, small viera aren't lorefriendly and the dev team said they're already pushing themselves on what was an acceptable amount of workload modeling gear over the various races each patch cycle, hence the lack of gender options so I wouldn't hold my breath on them willingly adding extra work scaling gear down to another height range just to satisfy people who could roll one of the 4-5 other smaller races.

Pretty sure that they have gear fitted for X size, be it 50% height and then it just scales up or down depending on which way player chooses. So, making the slider larger wouldn't require much of extra work at all.Nope, small viera aren't lorefriendly and the dev team said they're already pushing themselves on what was an acceptable amount of workload modeling gear over the various races each patch cycle, hence the lack of gender options so I wouldn't hold my breath on them willingly adding extra work scaling gear down to another height range just to satisfy people who could roll one of the 4-5 other smaller races.
It isn’t much work to simply reduce height from 5’10 to 5’7 or lower, but what you have to understand is the * likelihood * of Square Enix even considering doing something like this. We all know they won't do it. They ignore a lot of requests, even the sensible ones. It’s a miracle they even listened to the Male bunny outfit request, lol.
I’m all for short bunny girls, though I’m biased because I prefer short feminine women, but it’s not gonna happen. Just being honest here, guys.![]()

if you make a shorter version of the race they need to resize every single piece of gear in this game they can wear again
No that's not how it works at all. Do you think they resize each piece of gear 100 times for each race and gender's 100 unit height bar? That bar just records a percentage of whatever min/max the race can be and scales every character asset accordingly.
they would still need to go through and resize to see if it fit properly in right category
Funny considering to ME Viera are looking the most feminine out of all the races. If anything I was worried they would be made too short but I'm happy they are about 7cm smaller than Elezen at max height. Personal preference is a thing you know.
Don't bother. This person already argued for ages on another thread (and with another account) that short female are feminine and tall female are not. There is no changing their mind.
That being said, I like Vieras the way they are, I'm not really bothered by size really.
I'm assuming that last account was banned--which makes me wonder: isn't ban evasion a serious offense on the OF or are the mods much more lax than I initially thought? Because I was banned for something far less egregious than what happened in the other thread unless they have an arbitrary set of guidelines on language to which I've toned down since I've joined the forums.
