Please change the height of the Veena!

Today I was really happy to be able to create my Veena on FFXIV!
I was waiting the Viera from a really long time, but I got really disappointed about one thing: their height...
I know that the Viera are tall according to the lore, but I was hoping that Veena could have been more like the Feol, the second clan that looks more thin and small than the first one, so that every type of player can decide to create Viera or Veena according to their own liking and satisfaction.
Since Viera and Hrothgar will be the last races of the game, I would like to launch a message to Yoshi-p and ask him if it's possible to modify the actual minimum limit of the height, and setting it as low as 1.60m for example, in order to make everyone able to satisfy their own liking in the creation of their character.
I would be very sad to give up to the opportunity to create a Veena for this dumb but at the same time important reason, especially for the more casual group of gamers.

If this post will achieve success and reach a good visibility, maybe Yoshi-p will listen to our request.

I agree with you, I hope they would be a bit shorter like Feol, but Yoshida and his dev team ignore roughly about 90% of requests. Maybe a bit more. All they are concerned with at this point is just following the same patch/content formula until FFXIV dies. Until then, don’t expect much to change, cuz they 100% won’t change it.

I would look at the “State of FFXIV” thread. I just don’t really have hope anymore. Just enjoy the game while you still can.

This is why I would chuckle every time someone talked about how "everyone's gonna go Viera! They're gonna be everywhere! So many cat girls are gonna convert!".

Like ... the Viera are a race of TALL amazon women. The 2 tall female races are criminally underplayed for reasons including (but not limited to) the fact that many people in this game seem to not want to play tall women.

I'm sure they're gonna beat Elezen and Femroe by a good bit if only because half of those players will convert ... but I expect many who converted from the Waifu races to convert back once they miss being smoll.

But that's just me, carry on with this thread.

The feol are the same height as regular viera the difference between them was skin color and shorter ear they will never change their height.

You have Lalafell, Midlanders, Miqo'te, and Au Ra for all your "I want to be the little girl" needs. Why do you need Viera to be short, too?

Also, the Feol Viera are not "smaller and thinner" than any other Viera. That's misinformation from a fanmade picture and not part of the story from the only game they made an appearance in, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.

Only those strong of heart can join the ranks of the viera. This is how we weed out the players that want their adventurers to looks like pretty little pop idols. Like with the explosion of au ra before it, the people who can’t take it will return to miqo’te (I know how this sounds coming from a miqo’te).

Also we don’t need more viera height complaint threads. This is how viera are and have always been. They’re their own thing separate from hyur and by extension, humans, so you shouldn’t project your ideas of what is ideal onto them. If you want to play a short girl with animal ears, that already exists. The average height of all adventurers will be spiking up this summer anyway so the height won’t be as noticeable anyway.

They are "short" compared to the classic Viera.

If you want to be short, don't roll Hrothgar or Viera.
