This is why I would chuckle every time someone talked about how "everyone's gonna go Viera! They're gonna be everywhere! So many cat girls are gonna convert!".

Like ... the Viera are a race of TALL amazon women. The 2 tall female races are criminally underplayed for reasons including (but not limited to) the fact that many people in this game seem to not want to play tall women.

I'm sure they're gonna beat Elezen and Femroe by a good bit if only because half of those players will convert ... but I expect many who converted from the Waifu races to convert back once they miss being smoll.

But that's just me, carry on with this thread.

I have been waiting for a tall race I'll like for forever. I have tried making a Roe but I can't deal with the muscles, but weirdly enough I love seeing Femroe's, just can't play as one.
I have fantasia'd into Elezen several times but never last longer than a week before i get tired of their weird walk, neck and emotes in general.

Miqo was my "main" race before with the occasional fantasia now and then. Now it will be Viera.

I will probably be one of those people, but it has nothing to do with the height. The overall personality of the race is what does it for me. From what we've seen of the Viera so far, they seem a more stern with their emotes. Will be interesting to see the rest of them. Miqo'te will always feel more like "me" in that sense, but I am still quite excited to try out Viera for a bit.

I don't see the Viera as "amazon women" because they are not muscular. They are slim and tall. They give a more "Victoria's secret model" vibe. This appeals to a lot of players and it's something new. I agree that the players who admire the cutesy/small aesthetic will not want to play Viera because they are tall.

However, I would not put them in the same category as Roe or Elezen.
