Possible Compromise on Gender Locks: Volunteer Work

Well, technically it is. Because Yoshida isnt being given back as much money as could be. He has a small budget and cannot change it himself. He has no choice but to hand the money he makes over. Yeah SE is loaded and im not saying its right or that i agree with it. I likely wont even purchase another SE game outside of XIV. I still like XIV though and would love to be able to support the team that the main branch of SE is leeching off of. The issue is definitely money. Its corporate greed, at least in my opinion. Though if we could somehow get away with helping XIV specifically, without it going to the others... well that would be nice.

That's not how it works.
They already make me buy the game, sub to the game, and dangle items with price tags over my head. They aren't getting that quad-dip into my wallet because they don't wanna fund their own damn game.

The game makes loads of money.
They can't pocket that, run, and have me pay for more.

I totally understand. I just recall seeing Yoshida speak of the things he wished he had the power accomplish and it seems like hes being held back by a lot of limitations, including budget. A shame really. At the time of my posting I had forgotten SE and their greed were even related to the XIV team. XD Its a shame we cant get XIV more funding and get back at SE at the same time.
