They'll make them eventually, they already stated that they would have both genders for both races, but there literally was not enough time to get it done, and they wanted to appeal to more kinds of players who wanted more bestial races as well as the viera lovers.

It's just a matter of time, be patient and wait. While volunteer work is well intentioned, it doesn't work legally.

OP, sorry to say that but you're dreaming. In real world, they will never do that because of risks of hack and theft. They will maybe do that themselves but certainly not ask to "community".

People tend to assume many things based off a few words or interviews from ages ago, and it leads to threads of raging unfulfilled expectations, just because people 'thought' they would get that, but they did not.
It's dangerous to just post things like that, people will believe you and if it does not happen, everything will blow up (as it already did for many things lol)

Just open the thread for missing genders from 1.0, there is a person who was against of "eye candy" and "lore breaking" male Miqo right at the 1st page.

Please stop spreading around false rumors and false hopes. This is exactly what causes people to get in an uproar when they don't "get what was promised". They never said there were going to be male Viera. They never said there WEREN'T gonna be male Viera. Stop.

We could always pay them money instead, like a kickstarter/patreon to fund the development of other races/genders. If they hire artist themselves, we wont have to do anything at all.

Maybe they should do something like a merch sale or make a gil item on cashshop thats cheaper than what botters charge. Wed have less botters that way. Though of course it would be a bit weird for the economy unless they made some sort of gil sink. Runescape lets you buy subscription time, but at a very high cost. Its a feature called "bonds." You can sell or trade it to other players as well as buy it with money or game currency.

They could also make a different currency all together. Something like Crysta where the player buys "gems" and can spend said gems for certain benefits. Maybe an exp buff? Gil buff? Could even increase drop rates too, its starting to sound like a bad korean mmo. These are very rough ideas. I didnt put much effort into it, but thought maybe somebody would find inspiration somewhere in this to form a better idea. xD I honestly dont mind "buffs" though. Or even drop rates, so long as it isnt p2w. like increased chances for a bird mount dont really affect other players. We all get them randomly anyhow.

The idea was, that I just wish there was something we could do to help. The fastest way to help would be to pay for digital goods that took little to no time to create(5% exp bonus would not need models and textures beyond a hud icon) OR donate.

So people want to offer help to SE for free, instead of telling SE to allocate more resources to FFXIV from the massive profit they're gaining from it that they're allocating elsewhere?

Have you wondered why SE didn't already allocate resources to add the missing genders? Because most likely didn't see it profitable enough for them. That's why if the dev team was to decide to add them, it will be when they decide to use a portion of the resources they have. And as of now, if they haven't started working on that, then we might not see them in 6.0 (given how the new races we have now are still incomplete, according to some, when they started working on them since 4.1).
