You can’t be serious. Haha, posts like this are exactly why I made that crazy Gil jump potion analogy. :P Anyways, “empty market boards”? Do you have any idea how inflated and competitive markets are? World Visit helps that a lot as well. Especially the end game gear markets. It’s flooded with crafters. Occasionally, being filled with new crafters that will want to sell some gear for a quick buck. I would know. Trust me, I craft around 300 pieces of gear a day. And eventually I plan on crafting for all 7 servers.

Square Enix’s mission to have FFXIV’s markets be more competitive has been fulfilled due to World Visit. Anything beyond this point is just unnecessary and players wanting easy hand outs.

Secondly, for new players? What are you talking about? Crafting and Gathering was never meant to be easy for new players, period. If anything, it’ll hurt new players that want to earn gil by gathering. So many people will have access to DoH/DoL jump potions to the point where new players trying to save up gil, are basically stuck. If anything, that gives people more of a reason to buy gil.

There is a reason these jump potions are not a reality in NA/EU.
