Gunbreaker and Dancer Job Icons

The MNK one isn't great but I think it's supposed to be three slashes from a clawed fist weapon or something like that.

To me, GNB looks more like an explosion eminating from the blade when you pull the trigger.

I have no idea how either of those jobs are supposed to be represented by their icons.

Of course, triangle thing, no Summoner is complete without Triangle thing!

Though, from the looks of the 2 icons shown...

The heart one makes the least sense to me. I can't figure out its relation to Dancer/Gunbreaker at all, outside of a "Lionheart" reference, which is a bit of a reach for the icon for the job (Especially so given that Squall isn't canon in this universe...)

The other one, could be taken as a Chakram or slice through a crosshair (The latter being a bit weird due to its actual design) which makes some sense for either job.

Yeah the MNK and SMN icons are a reference to their iconic weapon and headpiece. All of the job icons are a reference to something iconic to the job, whether its a weapon, skill, or attribute

Weapon: PLD, WAR, SAM, MNK, BRD, MCH, NIN, WHM, RDM (in addition to looking like a rapier, it's also a combination of the BLM and WHM icons)
Skill: BLM (all by itself)
Attribute: DRG, AST, SCH, SMN, BLU, DRK (while it does sorta resemble a greatsword, its meand to be a physical manifestation of darkness)

As for the new icons, I can see a chakrum for dancer, but I'm not sure which I'd rather have, the heart one is nice, but the other looks too similar to SAM, i was hoping for something similar to a fan i guess. For gunbreaker, I was expecting the iconic lion head with a cross.

Dancers use THROWING WEAPONS, not specifically chakram. Their weapons can be any number of shapes, which is what the dev team wanted.

Every job's icon represents it or its weapon in some way... except, wtf is Samurai?

I think GUNs icon makes more sense than DNCs really, as a gun barrel cleaved in half, but DNCs like SAM is just some stylized icon that doesn't really mean much.

I thought SAM was showhing the Katana from above, vertically. The round is the hilt and the slim thing is the blade... At least that's how I see it haha.
