How is it ruining your experience that they don’t watch/skip the cutscene for Cape Westwind? Or that you have level-capped players getting Cape Westwind, Castrum, or Praetorium in a roulette that they queued into for EXP or Tomestones? They don’t have to watch them—even if it’s their first time. There are plenty of players who don’t care about the story or lore, and that’s their prerogative. You can’t stop them from it, nor can you force them to care for it. And you can’t force the content to die any slower short of basically asking players that have synced-down gear to not attack. And what’s the point of that?

The way this game’s sync system works aside—you do realize that all of this content was nerfed back when Heavensward released (Summer 2015) to facilitate faster progression towards the new expansion, right? All of the Heavensward content was similarly nerfed when Stormblood released (Summer 2017), and all Stormblood content will be nerfed with the release of Shadowbringers (June 28, 2019).

You have options to experience the content the way you want (e.g., Party Finder). Either use them or just go on your way. I’d suggest you just go on your way, though; instead of remaining hung up on this. Your experience will only further be ruined if you let this instance dictate it—so don’t let it dictate it. Continue on, because Heavensward’s story is far better than anything in ARR; so I don’t think you want to miss that.

In heavensward too i must up 60 lvl. Get a story (good or not) and again oneshot main evil cuz many players cant be slowly? So why this game have a story if I cant see her? Why i cant inv in dung with one player (70) and complete it? I must distract everyone (7 players) for dung? I do not feel like a warrior of light when enemies fall from one blow. Ifrit - Titan - etc bosses have good tome to fight. MAIN QUEST BOSS oneshot. Gracias. Or maybe the system will pick up newbies for 50 lvls? Why get only 90000000000 lvls players lol.

And all mobs sleep on dung idk why. Has the empire died by my hand, or have they just disappeared?

You keep asking for "normal players", but right now the Lv70 people you're grouped with are normal players.

You're at the only point in the game where this is a problem. At Lv60, the difference between your character and the max level characters (Lv70) is a lot less noticable.

Even the later Lv50 dungeons (Snowcloak and Keeper of the Lake) are more difficult than Castrum/Praetorium when played normally.

Do you mean that you want to play the dungeon with just one other player, who is at Lv70? You can do that. It's called an "undersized party" and you can set that in the Duty Finder options.

It's probably your best way of getting through Castrum/Praetorium in the way you want to experience them.

I don't know what you are talking about. Which dungeon? Who is asleep?

I mean I run with players and all mobs just sleep. Dont attack me. Maybe somebody use a sleep. BUT its a strange if place have enemy, all enemy must die. No shortcuts etc.

You’re more than welcome to enjoy the story. That said, there is no story to be had during Cape Westwind’s actual combat—just mechanics. The story comes before the fight and after the fight, and no one is forcing you to skip it. When I get Cape Westwind in Trial Roulette, sometimes there’s a new player there. People just chill until they finish the cutscene, kill him once the barrier is down, and then go on their way. They’ve never forced the player to skip the cutscenes and lose out on the actual story.
Boss have attacks. Phrases. He must die from my hand like Ifrit. I not see what can do white lady on mecha chocobo. Gaming experience such that the frog was stronger than lady.

Why they not do 70 lvls on ifrit etc? Or "Halatali" not have 70 lvls players in party. Strange for me). I think its a broken mechanic. 70 lvls must play on 70 lvls places. 50 on 50. Or if 70 lvls can go 50 dung, give them all dungeons for que.

If someone used Sleep on them (it would have to be a Conjurer or White Mage, as no other job can put mobs to sleep in this game), then just hit them with an attack to wake them up if you really want to fight them that bad. Are you possibly talking about mobs that don’t aggro on sight? All dungeon mobs aggro, but it’s possible you’re running by mobs that only aggro by sight—meaning that they need to see you. There are three types of aggro:

Sight Aggro: you have to walk into their field of vision for them to aggro you.
Sound Aggro: you have to run by them for them to aggro you (in front of them or behind; doesn’t matter).
True Sight: mobs will aggro you regardless.

You can’t force players to kill all mobs in a dungeon, by the way. There are several low-level dungeons that have branching paths with extra mobs that people ignore because they don’t see the need to kill them—especially considering how quickly we level and gain experience nowadays. Back in the day, they probably killed them for EXP, but it’s no longer necessary and a lot of players find it tedious to hunt down every mob in every side room.

Boss have attacks. Phrases. He must die from my hand like Ifrit. I not see what can do white lady on mecha chocobo. Gaming experience such that the frog was stronger than lady.
Yes, but his phases haven’t been seen since he was relevant, if I’m not mistaken. So 6 years ago. If you really want to see them, you can do minimum item level, undersized and have the level 70 player just stand there and do nothing while you solo him (except for maybe heal you, because you will need that), or you can try to solo him yourself. You can’t force 7 other players in a randomly matched party to slow the fight down for you just because you want to see all of the boss’s phases.

Why they not do 70 lvls on ifrit etc? Or "Halatali" not have 70 lvls players in party. Strange for me).
I can guarantee you that you’ve gotten level 70 players in Ifrit and Halatali. If not level 70, then at least high level players. They haven’t all been level ~20 players. You can click on the Party Members menu to see what everyone’s level is—because they’re synced down, it will only show you a synced level in the party list. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are that level.

I think its a broken mechanic.
Nope. That’s how random matching works—sometimes you get players that are low level, sometimes you get players that are high level, and sometimes you get players that are max level. There’s nothing broken about it.

70 lvls must play on 70 lvls places. 50 on 50.
I disagree. Sometimes I like to go back into old content despite having all of my jobs maxed out for well over a year now. That said, that’s not how this game works, nor how the developers want it to. They want level-capped players to queue into old content to help low-level players and new players.

If the system worked the way you wanted it to, queue times would increase drastically for a lot of content—I’d hate to have to wait for 3 other level 41 players just to do Stone Vigil, for example; or 7 other level 49 players to do Cape Westwind...

Or if 70 lvls can go 50 dung, give them all dungeons for que.
Again, you’re probably getting high level players from the Duty Finder Roulette queues. You do know how Roulettes work, right?

    - Trial Roulette has a chance to place players in any trial: from 4-man Ifrit to the latest 8-man primal — this includes Cape Westwind as it is considered a “trial” in this game.
    - Main Scenario Roulette will place players in either Castrum Meridianum or Praetorium, as the roulette only has those two duties in it.
    - Leveling Roulette has a chance to place players in any leveling dungeon (i.e., level 15 to 49, level 51 to 59, and level 61 to 69 dungeons).
    - 50/60 Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 50 or level 60 dungeon.
    - Level 70 Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 70 non-Expert dungeon.
    - Expert Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 70 Expert dungeon.
    - Mentor Roulette has a chance to place players in ANY CONTENT—meaning all of the above.

This is just how this game works. If you’re hoping people won’t utilize the roulettes, then you’re in for a very rude awakening.

I really think you need to let this go, and just go play the game. This will be my last response to you, as I’m only allotted 20 posts every 24 hours on this forum, and I’d rather not waste any more arguing over this.

You wouldn't progress through the story if this was implemented.

All players get synced down to the relevant level. All of their gear stats get synced down to the maximum allowable value for that level. At level 49, the maximum gear level is probably something like level 55. At level 50 this jumps up to over level 100 (because there are level 50 dungeons after the ones you're complaining about).

After this, I believe each dungeon itself has a maximum gear level, I personally don't recall any other dungeon that is noticeably easier to the point you can faceroll through it. Perhaps they've deliberately given these dungeons a high maximum gear level simply due to the fact that, again, you would not progress through the story (via duty finder anyway).

I'm just echoing other players at this point...

Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium now have unskippable cutscenes, so people can’t force you to miss out on those dungeons’ stories either. The fights are quick now because people simply overgear them; and you’re getting players that are queuing up for Main Scenario Roulette and/or Mentor Roulette usually—sometimes you’ll get a fellow newbie in there, but it’s usually 1 newbie and 7 veterans. The roulettes exist to facilitate queues—otherwise, you’d be waiting forever for the content to pop, and that’s less fun.

Why i cant inv in dung with one player (70) and complete it? I must distract everyone (7 players) for dung?
You can. It’s called “Undersized Party”—if you have a level 70 friend, feel free to ask them to undersize content with you (you cannot do this for any Stormblood content, though). Do note that Cape Westwind will probably still die fairly fast even with just one level 70 player and yourself in it. It’s not like his fight is mind-bogglingly difficult—I don’t think it ever has been.

You can also do Castrum and Praetorium this way.

Cape Westwind has always been easy. This is nothing new. As for why you get level 70 players, it’s probably because they were queued for Trial Roulette (Cape Westwind is a trial) or they are a Mentor queuing up for Mentor Roulette, which basically exists to fill waiting queues. If you want to do it with all level 50 players in their i45/i50 AF gear, start a Party Finder for it.

I’ve already explained why Castrum and Praetorium are easy. The developers have left the sync system in tact for 4 years now, so unless they plan to change it in 5.0, those two dungeons will always be steamrolled.

And all mobs sleep on dung idk why. Has the empire died by my hand, or have they just disappeared?
I don’t really know what you’re going on about now, but dungeons are the easiest content in this game. If you would like to feel challenged, get to endgame and try your hand at harder content. That’s all the advice I can really give you. Good luck.
