I think the problem is that the players just do not care about the newbies who come into the game, like the developers. Same problem on many mmorpgs).
But you're in a war situation. Not rushing is the antithesis of what you want to do when you know the Ultima Weapon could be awoken at any moment and singlehandedly turn your siege around. I thought you cared for the context and suspense of the story...?

Joking aside, I direct you again to my previous post. Not rushing means standing idle for seconds at a time. Not pushing anything, not bothering to attack while enemies wail on your tank. That's not exactly amazing either.

For the experience you're looking for, minimum item level party finder is what you need. Coming to the forums to proclaim lv70s hate newbies won't change a thing.

Why its not write on describe? And this not work coz everyone does what the system says ->push dity finder and go. System not help with party finder.

Its not true? All 70 spit on beginners gaming experience. For me, dungeons are adventures. If for someone they became the subject of currency extraction, this is their problem. If, in the understanding of players and developers, it is a means of extracting currency, then why invent a story? Just do non-soul korean mmo-games and no complaints.

Also, unless Pepsi_Plunge has guessed correctly and you're talking about the 'sleeping' armoured giants in Caatrum (which you're supposed to sneak around, not wake up)... either you're misunderstanding, describing it wrong, or something strange is happening with your game. Enemies should not be "asleep", and people rarely use sleeping spells in dungeons.
So why on start dungeon all fast run computer and go to next level. And many solders stay before pc and its all. Why the soldiers do not interfere with the use of the portal idk. Seems like speedrun mario lol.

If you care about harder battles, don't stay at level 50 trying to get "the real experience"
I lost the gaming experience when the bosses talked about from 1 to 49 as the main threat died faster than frogs near the capital. Im not need ultra new content from new addons. I want kill main story enemies once time like enemies. Not like rats.

    1. The game does explain both party finder and the duty finder settings. You can set your duty requirements as you wish.

    2. The only player I see spitting on other players is an apparent level 51 Paladin. Calling people nerds because they're simply level 70 is not a good way to endear yourself to the playerbase

    3. The soldiers will target a single player that has the aggro, there are 8 players. That leaves 7 players untouched to touch the portals. They do not sleep and you'll find that the 1 player who has this aggro either suicides or manages to get through the portal with a lucky break in between the auto attacks of the soldiers. I suspect as you label yourself a tank, you took it upon yourself to get aggro of these soldiers and the other players left you behind, this is what happens nowadays I'm afraid.

    4. This, once again, is down to the level sync mechanics. Your gear gets synced down relevant to your level. As you are doing level 50 dungeons, you are synced down to level 50 and your gear is synced down to the maximum allowable level for a level 50 player. Because there is a large number of level 50 dungeons that you still have to do, your gear level, at 50, needs to be higher. This has the unfortunate side effect of being too overpowered for Cape Westwind, Praetorium and Castrum Meridian. These are LITERALLY the only times you will see this overpowered effect via duty finder.

Every single main story enemy after and before these 3 instances will last a couple of minutes. The developers have learnt from this and have developed the game in such a way that this doesn't happen further down the line.

The further you get into the game, the less of a problem it will be. That's it. That's all we can tell you.

People have explained, and offered advice, and told you the methods you can use to get the experience you want.

The "normal" game experience at level 50 only will not give it to you.

We cannot fix this for you (besides repeating the suggestions already given).

You can follow those suggestions, or move on into Heavensward where the new bosses are still challenging, and realise it stops being a problem after this point.

Also, I'm sorry, but your English is not clear enough to understand the other problems you are trying to describe.

If you have no interest in (or appreciation of) the advice people are trying to give you, then I don't see a reason for me to continue discussing it

So, basically, you say that because all my Jobs are 60 or above, I should never again be allowed to do ARR Content, even if I love certain instances?

I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.

Just the players are not interested in this problem. Therefore, it is. Everything just silently farm resources. Few players are worried about the history of the game being played.

Lol and in new addons if i not skip cutscene after black screen I can see died boss. Because everyone can move while I'm watch story? Or how?

I call the level 70 nerds those who rush forward with their legs when I ask to run slower. Can I see instin in fast forward? The first impression is remembered more than others. Why, being a high level, I didn’t say new player “why are you running so slowly? Just that person doesn't care about the other. He just needs to get some coins from this dungeon. Oh and faster.

BLM can Sleep mobs? I have to admit, the only skill I was thinking of that could Sleep stuff was CNJ/WHM Repose lol. Ofc I don't play BLM that often, so if I forgot about it having a Sleep, that's probably why lol.

But yeah, I figured OP meant mobs that people avoid or those odd ones that you'll rush by that simply don't aggro you. Kind of like "Nope, I saw what you did to the OTHER mobs. I don't want any of that. Just let me sit here."

You clearly still fail to understand that many players have done these duties countless times. No, we aren't interested in watching cutscenes every run because we've already seen them. We know them. We know the lore. Just because we don't watch them every time we're in a duty doesn't mean we don't appreciate the story, so stop with that nonsense. This is not "a problem"; you can't force players to play the game the way you want them to play.

Unless I'm running on an alt and doing the story for the first time on that character, I have my client set to automatically skip any and all skippable cutscenes I've seen before because I've already seen them. Many times. I have more than one character that I play this game on. Some players aren't here for the story at all, though; and you can't force them to care about it.

No one cares if you want to watch the cutscenes. I've never seen a player complain about a new player enjoying the cutscenes. Watch them to your little heart's content. Just don't expect players to stick around after an instance is over while you do so. We have other duties to do now.

People speeding through Castrum and Praetorium is nothing new - players were doing this back aa far back at 2.0 itself. These dungeons are both very long and can be very tedious - Castrum is 35-40 mins with all the cutscenes, and Praetorium can take up to an hour. You can't expect everyone to want to RP walk through this content when they're doing it for the 500th time. I can guarantee that, if you'd done these dungeons 500 times, you would want them over with as soon as possible, too.

Stop calling people names and just go play the game. No one is going to want to help you if you continue with this attitude.

    This x10.

We are all aware of the problem, and there's nothing we can do about it. It sucks that the new players don't get to experience older content the way a lot of us got to, but that's just the way the game evolves. Lv50 content is now a stepping stone, but now that you're 51 the learning experience will pick back up because the content is fairly balanced until you get to 60. Lv 60 content will be zerged like lv50, but then once you get to 61 it rebalances and repeats until lv70.

The problem, again, as Hyo succinctly points out, is that there are large gaps in item level at 50, 60 and 70. The content you have problem with was tuned for level 45/55 gear (fresh lv50 gear) but the gear cap itself at level 50 is 130/135. So there's 80 some odd levels of gear just for level 50 characters. If I were to join as a level 70 character, it would sync me down to the highest gear at lv50, not the lowest entry level gear. Maybe we can have a debate about whether SE should fix that or not, but that's a separate discussion. Same applies at level 60, entry level 60 gear is around 190 item level, but the gear cap is 270/275. Again a wide range of gear for just a single character level. That's because these were level caps at some point but content had to keep scaling up until the next expansion, instead of giving us extra levels we just get more powerful gear.

This is such a non-problem once you get to current content, which is why most people are finding your comments rather silly - you are just getting feet wet in this game, there is so much more to do and you shouldn't let 6 year old content dictate your feelings about the game or it's players. I mean, even the job(s) you are playing now aren't the same as the were when said content was relative, lv50 jobs are a shell of what they used to be when lv50 was the cap.

On the bright side, consider this: if you stick with it and make it to 70, soon there will be a new expansion and you'll get to experience it all as it was meant to be experienced, before nerfs/adjustments/job changes ruin it all later down the line.

We are trying to tell you it gets better*, but if you want to stay hung up on 6-year old, dead lv50 content - it's your call.

    * - the attitude of players wanting to complete content as fast as they generally can does not change, but I don't think that's an exclusive phenomenon of THIS game. It's likely to occur in *any* game where you have repetitive farming/looting designs. If you want a "stop and smell the roses" type of game, you're probably going to have to go offline.

Just because ask doesn't mean anyone his obligated to acquiesce. If you run an Expert dungeon and I happen to be on tank, I will do either big or super pulls because I have precisely zero interest in taking a scenic route of the dungeon. I've ran it several times by now and am only there to collect the daily bonus. If you want to take your time, either go with friends or put up a PF.

can't expect people that have been playing the game for 5-6 years to care about new people running it for the first time. that's just the way the world works.

if you don't like it, then don't play the game. otherwise, suck it up and move on. complain all you like but you won't get people to agree with you no matter what you say.
