Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I think that MAYBE they could like blurr out the male viera and female hrotgar gender icons and maybe make it so when you scroll it says something like 'coming soon' or maybe even 'not playable currently'. I know it's unlikely, but I think it could be a great way for SE to announce the new genders and make sure EVERYONE knows they are coming. I think we will most likely have the missing genders either blured out or they would be like the other races but the missing gender icon will just not be there

They will not do that, especially as there's currently no guarantee that the opposite genders will be worked on at all. Once again, it's costly and if they don't get the resources required, they may never happen. Having something that implies they will happen and then later confirmed they won't happen will just have people claim SE lied to them.

Agreed, it's extremely unlikely they will do anything of the sort until they get a clearer picture of how well ShB is doing and what they have to work with.

I do consider it whining the moment people start slandering the devs making claims they are "lazy", "sexist", and "homophobic" which is down right rude and disrespectful. (I'm saying this as somebody who is LGBT myself) Yoshi and the devs have been very supportive of our community even expressing how happy he is for the Pride community events people hold in game. People are using this because they are crying over not getting the toy they wanted, and want to do anything they can to vilify the ones who didn't make the toy to their specific demands. It becomes nothing more than a temper tantrum.

Good gods, some people use said buzzwords over a hundred pages back, are actively discouraged by the bulk of mViera/fHroth supporters, and suddenly anyone who wants the missing genders is a special snowflake accusing the devs of sexism and homophobia, please...

I don't think they'd commit to any "coming soon" or anything like it. If anything, the sex icon could be greyed out, if they put it in at all, not good from a business stand-point to advertise something they're not 100% sure they can deliver. It'd be a(nother) PR nightmare.

Also I think I should have made it clear in my post they should OBVIOUSLY only do that if they want to use hat as the announcement for the thing when they are 100% sure they can release them in a maximum period of 2 years (don't feast something and make ppl wait 4 years for it, and obviously if u ain't gonna do it don't say u will)

That is a fair point and I myself expect them not to say anything until a fanfest (hopefully NA, but most likely JP) and it's not that wise to confirm them now considering most ppl will expect something that's confirmed to come super fast, and if it takes them 2 years for example a decent chunk would get mad once again

Even if they are currently planning to add them in 6.0 they wouldn't do so because all kinds of things could happen between the release of SHB and 6.0 that cause them to scuttle those plans. People talking about how SE should do better about managing people's expectations? This is one of those things that could easily blow up further in their faces if they end up never adding MViera/FHrothgar or even just delayed even longer then anyone would like.

I am extremely late but I meant not a small sex kitten boy like miqote or giraffe person like elezen. I could have gotten on board with Au Ra but as far as I have seen the horns are all on the sides of their heads like handle bars. I am sure I will be dragged for this but I really like the high elf race from Tera. And no I do not partake in any form of ERP.

At this point I feel like the people complaining about all the "whiny SJWs with an LGBTQ+ agenda" are reacting based off of other posts by detractors saying that it's out of control and not actually reading the thread or seeing many (or any) of those posts themselves. Because I swear to god I've seen maybe a handful of posts that are anything like that (and they were almost all from the initial uproar) but it still gets brought up like every two pages by people looking to devalue a feedback thread.

My feedback is and has always has been that I'd like to see the other genders implemented. Resource limitations, workload concerns, whether putting support behind an idea makes us entitled or whiny, if we have some kind of agenda, if we're a bunch of sexual deviants who will ruin this wholesome game with beast women and attractive men, if the concept we're supporting will actually be profitable for SE, if the other genders will add anything of intrinsic value or variety to the game, if we shouldn't have expected the other genders in the first place/don't deserve to be disappointed, for me none of that has anything to do with my basic desire for every race in this game to have two gender options and is for dev team to evaluate for themselves and make a decision on. I will continue to ask for it until the day they say that they cannot and will not ever be able to implement them, because it's something I would like to see in the game plain and simple.
