Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I think there's an odd definition of 'slim' within this thread at times! I don't consider a guy with a large amount of muscle definition to be as such. The boxer's muscular physique is wonderful and I hope that the FFXIV team go with it.

We also know that Viera men will not be added anytime soon, so perhaps they will arrive during or after the much needed expansion of the character creation system that will allow for a broader level of customisation in general.

The drawing straight up looks like it has omega m's physique which is exactly what I would want. I think Matsuno's comment "GJ" means good job. I do think the ffxiv version of male viera might be a little different. The ffxiv male viera will probably have a patch of hair on their chest, but I really hope this is optional because I don't want a patch of hair on my character's chest.

Hopefully there would be a muscle slider to allow for a little more bulk, particularly in regards to the limbs. Even if not, it's still a nice level of muscle definition. I'm not a fan of the outfit, though hopefully the FFXIV version would be some sort of loincloth instead. Though it seems as if that may have been something the artist put in of their own accord.

A muscle slider would not change the shape of the model really. Just like our current muscle sliders, it'll most likely just show the character being toned or not. No actual increase of bulk to the model.

Personally, I have no preference for the racial gear as I'll probably glamour into something else anyway.
Seeing the tweet Mugear posted seriously made my day. I hope if we ever get male viera, it looks just like that. Slim, handsome, and elegant.

Matsuno-san also retweeted some "slim" (kind of) fanart too though, so I would say that he is quite open about how they could look. Seems he is just excited about the fact that people speculate about mViera ahah. I wonder if he would play one by himself? XD

I really really want the fur patch on their chest so I really hope it’s at least an option in the “face features” and with the drawing, I like the build but I hope I can make him a bit more dominant and handsome (similar to miqote but maybe a bit older?) also I hope we have hairstyles and can also change the ear size and not get bummed out with how hrothgar options were. Idk if female viera could wear any hair style but seemed like it couldn’t. Kinda disappointed in the Fran one (I love it) but now kinda seems like we won’t get hats at all. Some hats would look really cool (dun scaith healer hat) would look like a white rabbit/mad hatter with the ears poking out. So disappointed that it won’t happen because they won’t make ears pop out of the hats unless theres already holes.

Now I'm confused. Male Miqo'te have quite wide age gap in their face types, you know? There is a teen-type face (G'raha Tia used it), ~18+ y.o. type face (Mugear_Bahamut uses it as far as I can see under his eye bondage), ~25+ y.o. type face (the one you and me use) and ~35+ y.o. type face (X'rhun Tia from RDM quest line uses it). So.... older than which one?

As for fur, would be good to have it as optional feature, but not as permanent one, in my own preferences, but that's not up to me to decide anyway. x)
