That's outrageous! Even more unacceptable when a moderator comes to reply, dodges the whole request entirely, and then nothing!


I wish it was this easy! It seems I cannot edit a post if it was moved into the closed section of the forums. They're leaving me without any options but to reach out publicly here!

I love the automated non-human responses that Square Enix offers. The lack of help offered in game and in forums is funny.

I know I myself have requested help as well. Months have gone by without anything more than a similar automated response good job Square Enix keep up the great work at keeping this great MMORPG at number two instead of number one where it should be.

Maybe make your posts/requests in the correct forums with the correct information. They are usually pretty good about resolving issues when given the correct information.

Technically, there is an issue with how the forum was designed in the first place. But that isn't the point I'm here to make. I understand this was in the wrong section. This forum isn't exactly the easiest to understand.

I'm fairly sure that moving your post here is the end of the staff paying attention to it.

They've read your request, it's not a request for technical support within the game, and so it's been discarded from the technical support forum. They just send it here instead of deleting or locking it.

Right now all the link in your original post is going to achieve is directing more curious onlookers to see what terrible secret you want to hide so badly. I'd suggest deleting it, but you'd probably just drive more people to Google for it and send the page even higher in their search results.

Your best chance may be making a new request in the Website Feedback & Suggestions forum, which may or may not be able to help you, but I wouldn't expect any further moderator action on this specific request.

The actual post is pretty meaningless to an onlooker anyway. Who's going to be searching Google for your character? The more fuss you make over it, the more visible it's going to be, and it's probably not going away.

And if it does get deleted? Now you'll need them to delete this thread too because people will find it and wonder what you were hiding.
