I don't know what the official meaning is, but commonly, I think this term is used for handsome characters that are slender, tall, and sometimes androgynous or feminine. When Yoshi P described male viera's appearance, I think he means the "ikeman" type of look. The kind of look you see male characters have in those dating games or games aimed at girls. These types of characters are popular in japan, right? So no, I don't think viera will be buff like how some people want them to be, especially since Yoshida said they would be slim. Maybe it will have a slider to have your character toned, but most likely not buff.
