So it's the same as it has been. They're observing feedback and they'll get back to us. And I missed the part with Mr.Happy that they'd consider a forum based response, but I'm going to maintain that we most likely won't hear anything about it before the May Live Letter.

It would be nice to get word before May but I think they will take their time. Honestly speaking the longer it takes, the more I think they are trying to find a gentle way to let people down. They definitely don't want another bad reaction on the level of what happened at the JP fanfest.

Regardless, the way they handled the whole affair left a sour taste and I won't be buying Shadowbringers. Male Viera/Female Hrothgar aren't the only reason for this, but it's a big one. The last bit of faith I had left in SE and YoshiP's team died with that announcement.

So we're almost at a month since the announcement...
When are we going to get an update from the devs???

I'm not expecting them to look at any of the data they are pulling on this issue until ShB is out. Gear (head slots) wont even be done by then. They are working up until release. After that they'll decide. No way they could include them in 5.0 anyhow. I'd rather they work on making sure ShB is as done as possible first.

I'm not expecting a "Sure guys we're gonna work on it!" announcement, but I'd at least want a "we're hearing you" message to at least get the feeling that they're not hoping this'll all die down and that we'll all forget about it.

We've already received that message :shrug: when they said in the above gamespot and MrHappy links.

And no way were getting them (if we do) prior to 6.0. They are not going to have all the race stuff done (headgear) for 5.0, it took from 4.1 or so to get what we did.... if they start right after they fix all the broken stuff it'll take until 6.0 to get it (hopefully all the way) done.

Oh yeah, fully agree that it'd be nice to hear about it earlier. I'm just trying to keep peoples expectations tempered so as to avoid over-hyping or building unrealistic/unreasonable expectations.

It would be nice to get a response at any rate. Just a "Yes, we've heard you're feedback and we'll add the missing genders, but we're putting the finishing touches on 5.0 first" or "unfortunately, we're not going to add them at this time," would suffice. Devs, how much money do you want? I'll pay an extra 20 or 30 dollars and I think others would too if it meant funding the personnel to add the missing genders. Not to mention, all the people that will purchase fantasias. Please respond
