People can wear pretty much what they want in the west.
People can design their female characters how they like.
People are allowed to be offended and comment on things.
And the devs can (and do) do what they like.

Where did I say people can't wear what they want? and everything else you just mentioned? what are you talking about?

Also you're wrong, Devs or the FF14 dev's rather if you want to be technical can't do whatever they please or like.

If you watched the Paris I think it was fan fest, the team actually had trouble doing the scene when yotsuyu was stepping on gosetsu head, said it would have bumped up the rating and basically would have killed the game, Yoshi-P said himself times are hard to add stuff what's acceptable or not now, the team also can't add gambling and the list can go on.

I should also add you can't just wear what you want in the west, are you crazy?
You also can't design female characters how ever you like now too, maybe if you keep it yourself maybe. Not to get TOO deep into and but a lot of social media actually put a ban on a "certain" type of design for anime characters.
