aside from the fran-themed lv1 racial set and the lingerie set they'll be wearing the exact same gear as everyone else.
they probably only had the rse and dancer stuff optimized when they made the videos

I have to agree here with Valkyrie.
*points at Miqo'te starter gear*
Oh look a race of talented and ferocious hunters in skimpy clothes... It's not like this is a first. Nor is it unexpected since as other's have said Viera are pure FF12 Fanservice with Fran as the poster child.
Wow, it's almost like blatant fanservice is to blame, or something.
Because it's possible to be fierce and still want to be sexy. Also, who said they wear that into combat? As far as I know Fran was the only one going out and fighting like that.
Read the title, thought it was about femroes
Aww...
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
They're not human. Different bodily function rules. What you consider room temperature could be their sweating point. Nobody is blinking twice at near naked beast tribes. Why do bun buns catch your eye over the Amal'jaa? All I saw was praise for the Anata and all they wear are small clothes.
Edit: Yeah I'd forgotten all about the starting sets. It's impossible to look at a hyur female walk in the starting skirt without a face full of panties. Same with Miqo'te. Suddenly now less clothing is a problem?
They look like they are straight out of ff12. If you don't like it, just wear something different.
What can I say? I like strong female heroes. What I saw didn't convey that. Maybe the introduction will fix that issue.Oh Kacho.. It's not so bad. When I think about a lot of the other games out there, SE is much more elegant with how their characters show skin in comparison. Cut them some slack. No doubt, the Viera will come in waves of sexy but this doesn't mean you have to keep them in their starter gear. You can clothe, robe, and armor them to your liking and you won't be alone. She can still be this 'fierce' warrior that you envision.
She wouldn't be a fierce warrior. She'll be a gunblade and my hrothgar will be a dancer.![]()
