Can we have a server merger after fee take place ?

Like it or not, servers are getting restructured. It sucks that it's happening after the fact, but there's no turning back time. Mergers are definitely coming, and regional servers are a possibility. From what I understand, it's being considered because many JP players want it (not that it matters who's asking for it, but to get angry at those on the NA forums who agree it's a good idea is futile). And Yoshi-P said here that they would like to designate at least one RP server.

Actually, regional servers are the MMO standard. Final Fantasy is the only game I've played that doesn't do this.

The MMO standard is that way because most games are region locked. Many MMO's only launch in a single region, and are marketed only to a single audience.

The internet however is global, from the time you access it (not counting censoring) you are connected to people around the globe.

Yes when I put exactly what you are asking for that way it does sound racist doesn't it?

Maybe you should think about why you have time to play MMO's and post 985 times on this forum, but you can't spend the effort to play with others who maybe don't speak English very well (or at all, though at all is a stretch as obviously all Japanese players playing Final Fantasy XIV speak at least a very small amount of English), especially when the game has provided you with an in-game translation tool.

So many others have. Not only in FFXIV either, people all over the world for a great deal of reasons manage to do this. Yet you are so against it. You must have your own server... for your own kind.
