Lottery does not fix the actual issue, which is the amount of available plots. This would only change who gets a house. It won't increase the amount of home owners. There would still be just as many unhappy players. We need more houses. Not more rng.

No. We pay a sub already, and it's supposed to include the housing system.

No. Allow fcs to be what sort of fc they want to be. The game should not be dictating how a community plays as long as it's not against the ToS. This suggestion would severely punish rp fcs because rping doesn't "clear content" in a manner that the game can track.

My god section this is just horrible.

Why do you think it's a good idea to punish an entire fc just because the fc leader hasn't logged in for a month? There are loads of legitimate reasons why this could happen. They could be sick. Have financial issues. Their gaming machine could be broken. They just want to take a break.

That active member amount requirement would literally punish fcs if members leave. How is this fair on the fc? People don't always leave due to drama. Sometimes the fc isn't someone's jam, and they leave to find something better suited to them. It also would punish fcs for kicking members they don't want. You really think it's a good idea to force fcs to keep players they don't want, and/or recruit random players just so they can keep their house?

Never mind how you would also need the members to be online as well? My fc has over 25 individual players, and on xmas week we didn't have more than a handful log in to play the game. If we had your system we would have lost our house just because our members were visiting their families at xmas.

Good god...

Something tells me you have never been in a position of authority in an online community.

No, this feeds elitism. I am completely against this.

I am surprised that none of your "possible solutions" include the most obvious and best one, which is proper instanced housing. Something that would make all the issues of housing availability and acquisition completely disappear.
yeah I agree instanced housing would be another POSSIBLE solution, that's why the topic is POSSIBLE solutions. I'm 100% for instanced housing as long as it's done right. I believe it's the best solution.

regarding your comments about an absent fc leader: pass lead until you return, if you cant trust your comrades, what kind of FC are you.

regarding your comments about member requirements: your fc has 25, I'd think it be really easy for you to maintain 8 active players per week.

also, even if any of these methods were implemented there would be alot more details surrounding them and all this is hypothetical discussion anyways.
