yes, this would be amazing.no to the lottery that would honestly be just wrong lol because rng depend on a house no nop bad bad idea ..
but other than that i can agree
fcs rlly need buyable land in zones that weren't fully explored for fc land that they can place plots in/grow trees,mine rocks etc on like the steps and ruby seed that will fix alot split fc lands from personal ones.

true, but at the end of the day they are a company, and I'd be willing to pay some extra $$$ a month for FC housing. in all honesty I think the housing system needs a complete overhaul with more properties available, but it feels like the only realistic solution is instanced housing for FCs and individuals.No. This actually incentivizes SE to strangle the normal housing so they can make more money off premium. Besides, if they have time to work out a whole new system, they can utilize that for instanced housing with indoor/outdoor space and the ability to adjust the size.

Please explain how you pass lead if your gaming machine dies or if you unexpectedly end up in hospital.
Thank you for completely ignoring a real scenario I explained to you; that my fc was very quiet for a week due to Xmas, and that under the system you suggested we would have lost our house due to being classed as inactive for that week.
Your suggestions regarding fc houses are frankly extreme and give no consideration to how players act, the common constraints that may prevent them from playing for a short period such as a week, and how a healthy fc in general works.
I don't think he's honestly been lead of any online community. It's not like an actual corporation with the government glaring at it. It's a bunch of people sitting around gaming. A cousin of mine got hit by a car (a very bad hit) and would not be logging on to XIV for a looong, long time.
Whooops guess he loses his FC house! Silly shoulda transferred leadership XD
The heaviest sarcasm because he wouldn't be concerned about said house.
To this end, I'm glad the system moves down to next in rank followed by last online for leadership. But I think the housing timer is faster.

This actually already automatically happens and has done since 2.2 (March 2014).
So it transfers to the next most senior person who has logged into the FC within the last 7 days.In the event a free company master does not log in for 35 days (Earth time), ownership will be automatically transferred to another free company member, based upon the following criteria:
1. Members who have logged in within the past seven days
2. Higher-ranked members preferred
3. Senior members preferred
* After the transfer, the former master will automatically be demoted to ordinary member status

The lottery system would be the one dev pick for temporary solutions but they went for another failure system call rng timer. Lottery will not fix the core issue thought, there just shortage of supply. Unless dev add more ward or change housing ward into individual instance nothing will change, however, I am all in favour of replacing the rng timer with lottery for temporary solution

@Penthea
@Gula
well then 2 months and after the fc leaders sub has been cancelled/on hold for 45 days, leadership of the FC autopasses to the 2nd in command. maybe instead of meaningless speculation just say "hey how about this? (insert idear here)"

Meaningless speculation? You're the one who has this idea that a fc is somehow broken or inactive if a certain amount of members don't log in within a week. I suppose you have never been in a moderately sized fc before. My fc is super active but on xmas week it was pretty dead. This is FAR from an unusual to happen to a gaming community. But with your suggestion we would have lost our house...because of one week of inactivity we have once a year. I cannot fathom how anyone could be remotely okay with this ludicrous suggestion of yours regarding the activity of members. You have managed to suggest something worse than lottery. Well done.

cool. whatever you want to think. I'm done with you.Meaningless speculation? I take it that means you think we should have lost our house due to our members visiting their family in Xmas week? That one week of low activity in a year invalidates how active our fc is otherwise?
I hope you don't lead a fc. It sounds like you would be kicking people if they dared to be busy for a week. Then again, who would join a fc with leadership like this.
