What are Your Conditions to Commend?

I commend dps that actually aoe mobs in dungeons, there so many times where they won't use their aoe combos and it's especially worse when some of them have mentor crowns on.

I usually tank, so I will usually commend the DPS that uses the LB in a proper manner. If neither of them LB, then I commend the healer if they keep up with my big pulling.

I'm terrible at giving out coms. Not because I'm a jerk, but because I honestly forget most of the time. As soon as the last boss dies, I skip the cutscene and make a bee line to the exit as fast as I can. It's not because I'm anti-social or anything. I always say "Hiya" or 0/ at the start and "thanks all" when it's done.

It's just that I have more of a cut, print, moving on type of mentality. The only time I give out a com is when the healer kept me alive because I was standing in stupid when he/she should have just let me die, or the tank really knew what they were doing and got us through a quick and painless speed run.

Other than that, I've already left the dungeon.

I close my eyes and give it out to someone randomly unless someone specific did something to stood out in a good way, such as a good dps or a good tank who impressed me with boss positioning.

... or if it's a fellow cat boi with good glam. :P

I don't really have any set conditions, i mean coming from someone who's only ever really played one combat job since Beta,
- And that one job is a Dps,
- And it happens to be a Monk,
- All i play is Monk; Monkmasterracejustkidding.

But in principle, because i do only play a dps job, i just give the commendations to the healer, and if there isn't a healer in the list, i give it to the tank.

I also usually do this because nothing ever weird or out-of-the-ordinary ever happens in my duty finder dungeons, everything generally goes pretty smooth.

I default my comms to the healer unless another member of the group stands out somehow. If a dps ever Goads me, thats something that stands out. Or if a tank is super speedy and positions well, that sometimes stands out to me as well. Other than that, healers get my comms every time because I can sometimes be a handful. And if they heal me even when I accidentally stand in the fire, then comms go to them. In my experience healing is the most thankless job in this game. So to all you good healers out there, I tip my hat and my comms to you lot.

As a healer, I usually give them to the Tank unless they are being dumb, then it will go to the DPS I think is most helpful. As a DPS, I usually give them to the healer, unless they are bad, then it goes Tank>helpful DPS.
