I hate the timers, as well. It's just not quality gameplay to be running through content instead of actually facing it. DH is the dumbest instanced dungeon I've ever seen in an MMORPG precisely because it's a speedrun from start to finish. It's not even about clearing the dungeon quickly, it's about running through it quickly!
Some have suggested better rewards and hall of fames for quick clears. I'd simply tie it to achievements: Clear DH in under 25 mins and you get an achievement. Otherwise it would make no difference.
In just about every other MMORPG on the market your incentive to clear a dungeon quickly is to save time. When you beat it quickly, you get another run with another shot at gear sooner. This isn't a factor until you manage to actually beat the dungeon, though. Since there is no time limit, the bosses can be made more difficult to master.
Yea because they can't craft all day outside DH, right? Seriously, stop posting if reason isn't your thing.
