But before going about claiming that a Majority of the Playerbase wants for this to happen it should actually be a majority of the playerbase in the corresponding data this ensures that the argument for such a thing is a strong movement aimed towards the change and can provide irrefutable proof that such a thing is in demand.

You got to keep in mind while things are different in America because of Labor Laws In Japan pouring over these kinds of things and making them happen in game is what is reffered to as a Death march. These Programmers will spend days and weeks at thier office often sleeping on the floor next to thier computer to make sure these things happen if they are indeed demanded by a majority. That means time away from families and real life things in order to see it to fruition.
