"Every individual is paying for the game as much as anyone else is."
Sadly, also not true. Retainers... mogstation. Everyone is paying different amounts than everyone else.
Going to take a lot more then this gender lock issue to convience SE to put more money into the game. Yoshi looks at feed back and measures how much we want it, SE looks it and measures how many dollar signs its going to pop up. Dont need to work for SE to know this issue is not popping up near enough dollar signs.I just see it as a long term goal, nothing else. Yoshi being able to point to fan demand for something can't hurt if he has to ask for more resources to make it work. That's why I don't see anything at all wrong with people complaining. If that makes people entitled, so be it. We're paying for the game as much as anyone else is.
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
I didnt know feeding more money to SE makes me a VIP.
Lets be honest, even with the finite resources, we are getting our quality content. And a male Hrothgar/ female Viera additional to that. Lets not act like the expansion looks emptier while it does include new (half) races.
Never suggested that it made anyone a VIP. Just stating that using the statement "Every individual is paying for the game as much as anyone else is." as a justification for pushing Square to make Male Viera / Female Hrothgar is a fallacy.I didnt know feeding more money to SE makes me a VIP.

Personally I'm quite happy with Female Viera. I also wouldn't have been upset with no new races at all. Just make the Raids shiny and I'm happy.
I've got a Whale mount >.>
I'm attacking myself as well ;-;
I'd think fantasia sales would be a pretty good incentive too though. Out of all the things you could add to the game, new race options have the most potential to get people spending money on the mogstation. I mean, the gays have plenty of money to spend on fantasia. Most don't have screaming kids to support. Male Viera alone should have SE seeing $$$. :vGoing to take a lot more then this gender lock issue to convience SE to put more money into the game. Just a reminder some people are okay with genderlocks.

Oh so this is a gay issue? I had no idea is was the gay community pushing to have the genders unlocked?I'd think fantasia sales would be a pretty good incentive too though. But in a way he is correct, everyone does pay the same minimum amount of money to play this game. Everyone is free to pay more, but it doesnt give you more "voice" than someone who doesnt.Never suggested that it made anyone a VIP. Just stating that using the statement "Every individual is paying for the game as much as anyone else is." as a justification for pushing Square to make Male Viera / Female Hrothgar is a fallacy.

And thats the point I wanted to say. As long they use their resources wisely just like they did on mHroth/fViera, I dont see a big problem to see opposing genders in 6.0.
But many try to tell me that these missing resources would affect their gameplay - while same can be said that mHroth/fViera might affect 5.0.
