I'd be ok with that so long as he's still tall. My personal preference on the matter, ofc, but that's what's good about the females being huge - males can be, too, but still smaller.

Oh yes me being on #TeamShortManBun takes into account that the viera as a whole are a very tall race. While I'd like a reverse Au Ra, I wouldn't want a total 180 on it since the Au Ra dimorphism is gross and horrible and WHY DID YOU TAKE DRAGON LADIES FROM ME SE??!

Oh right, reasonable amount of height difference. Tallest male is slightly taller than the smallest female, but tallest female is noticeably taller than the tallest male. Flip the Elezen or highlander height differences so they look like they're the same freaking species at the same level of maturity.

Why is it not a good idea? Keeping Viera genderlocked would curb resources spent and follow along established lore. >buh muh warrior of light >but muh roe >but muh cats Screw that I want Viera unique like they were when I played Tactics and XII with males be non existent. There is an arguement to be made for female Hrothgar though which they should focus on.

We would just repeat this cycle if they add female Hrothgar and not male Viera as they would have to add another male exclusive race since be unfair for male character players, these are their options right now if they go with what you say and keep 'lore integrity'
- Leave everything as is no adding the other genders
- Add both missing genders screw lore
- Add female Hrothgar no male equivalent
- Add female Hrothgar new male race that is genderlocked

Yea can't see option 3 or 4 being good heck 4 would just repeat everything we have just done continuing the cycle, 3 would just be a slap in the face to male character players, option 2 is our only hope for male viera people will latch onto this, and 1 is understandable but disappointing.

If female Hrothgar become a thing so will male Viera they have been tied together one will not exist as a playable race without the other at this stage so you wanna use lore to say no male Viera then no female Hrothgar.
