they had a good reason tbh even tho i want male viera and female hrothgar as much - they just did the implementation of the races wrong. they should have released both races, but first one race with both genders, then the next one

i don‘t think the additional genders will be released before 6.0 tbh. i don‘t think they have the resources to add them in 5.2 or 5.3, i‘d really welcome it tho!

I also fear that we wont see the other parts of the race before 6.0 which is over two years away. Way too long for me. x_x

But hey on the other hand they also always said that they cant give us more housing, but after the shirogane disaster we suddenly get double the wards in each region because people were so angry. So maybe this discussion can help them to get more budget for that specific issue.

While I understand their frustrations, because believe me...genderlocking is ridiculous in this day and age-- I think unsubbing is a bit much. It kind of sounds like they wanted a reason to unsub. Any reason, really and I guess this was it. I probably don't have a lot of context because I'm not the most frequent player around (I stopped playing for several months last year and originally began my journey in Nov. '17), so there could be a multitude of reasons why folks are especially upset. But yeah, this is a lot.

Or maybe it was the final straw for them? Is it really that surprising that someone is finally done with the game if they even failed on that? Just because they are saying that this is the reason why they are unsubbing is probably for a lot of them not the only one to do so.

Also I am not sure why someone is throwing a tantrum just because they are writing that they are going to drop their sub. (Not meant directly at you Miharu just using this post to say that) We have no other direct way to tell SE why we are going. And it is important for SE to know because the ones that go silently are the worst for them because then they dont know why they went away and if they could change it. I also remember at least a couple of "unsub" threads over the last months for different reasons and a lot of them were civil and with reasonable OPs but like most of the times quite a lot of the answers to the OP were rude. Honestly seeing how many threads had been created just to point fingers at those that are disappointed and/or wanted to unsub...(from being a disgrace, blackmailing and more) then I wonder who are really the ones that are throwing tandrums. (And I know bad posters existed on the disappointed side too, but most of the posters had been civil)

While 2 years feels like quite bit of time for us to sit on the edge of our seats, I think it’s reasonable timeframe on the dev’s side when it took around 2 years for f viera/m hrothgar to get from start to finish. I hope that between 5.0 and 5.1 they’re able to round up the resources needed for a 6.0 release :>
