Please add male viera with Alphinaud's body type or the body type shown in these concept arts

My friends and I were very much looking forwards to making different characters, Several of which would have been male Viera, and when it was evident that the ronso were a possibility one of my friends wanted to make a female ronso. We would very much like it if you re-considered the gender lock, and gave us them both. To gender lock something in this day and age seems a bit of a regression, and I know many gamers would -really- like to see both genders of both of these races. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Reconsider the Gender Lock! This is 2019, and I want both a brawler of a female, and a lithe man! It's not fair to only have women be beautiful, and men be rugged. Women climb mountains, wrestle and lumberjack just like the men can, and men dance ballet, bake cakes and sew like women can. There is no such thing as 'something only one gender can do' anymore. This world is big, and open to everyone and everything, so be inclusive too!

I have no problem with Male rabbits, but everyone here hoping for some kind of small rabbits to mirror the aura dimorphism need to realize that it's absurdly unlikely with how they've been described.
If I have to put up with this for 2 years and then the backlash starts AGAIN because everyone is expecting "muh smol fluffy bunnies" I'm going to be very very unhappy.

It's ridiculous, male vieras are supposed to be survivalists who live like Bear Grylls 24/24 and fend off outsiders, but all the catboys here seem to believe they would have been small, feminine boys, they don't want vieras, they don't care about vieras, they only wanted bunny people, as long the race was called viera they weren't going to get their bunny little boys.
I would have been fine adding them, but they should be closer to male au ra.

Male Viera (and female Hrothgar) definitely should be added. Genderlocking stuff like playable species, etc should be a thing of the past, it doesn't belong in a game in 2019.
I hope whoever at Square is in charge of this reconsiders, and I hope the team gets whatever help they need to make it a reality.
I also think they should be just as dainty as female viera. Pretty boys with no au'ra style dimorphism please.

I wouldn't fantasia my main to a male viera (I love elezen too much) but I had plans to boost one so I'm very bummed that my alt plans were cancelled on me. I have no interest in male hrothgar, and while I'll likely make a female viera I have no interest in actually playing one with any regularity (will probably just swap a retainer to viera instead, now that I think about it).

It's unfortunate because everything else about ShB I'm super excited about, but my disappointment in the race reveal almost entirely eclipses that. I'm sure I'll get hyped again as the expansion approaches but I know this bitter taste will never leave, not with constant reminders everywhere.

But the part that concerns me more deeply than not being able to play a race I was excited about is knowing I can't rely on SE to learn from their past mistakes. I want to just say "I'm very disappointed, so please learn from this and do better next time" and leave it at that but they already did, and then... what? How could this have happened again?

It's worrying.
