Male Miqo'te exist in the world. They are sentient beings with free will. An adventurer is by definition someone who goes against the status quo. There is literally nothing that breaks the lore there. Why do people keep saying this?

Because they think they found two races that are alike but much like reading a clickbait article they don't read on. Miqo'te are set into to things, Nun and Tia. Nun often are more without some freedoms or rights in a tribe or out of there own looking to start one. Tia are more alpha males who have some semblance of a tribe.
The Viera exile their males to the forest and we don't know what they do once they hit that age.
Not sure if you are agreeing with me or not. I know about the tribes, but that is just the traditions of their people. Adventurers are often tired of doing what is expected of them and decide to take their own path life. Tradition does not control your actions.Because they think they found two races that are alike but much like reading a clickbait article they don't read on. I don't really care that much about the Viera but it seems the same could be said, unless there is something physically stopping them from controlling their own lives.
