I hope the hammer character (or Minifillia) is our next healer for 5.0...

It's unlikely that Minfilia will be a healer. Presumably, she needs to be a DD so that if the player is a tank or healer there can still be a full trust party, since Thancred is GNB, Y'shtola is BLM, and Urianger is AST, at least if those are the four you start with before meeting up with more options.

Alphinaud and Alisaie were shown in the previous fan fest as a part of the Trust System.
So everything is possible.

That, and there's no reason to assume they'd go back to geomancer anyway in 6.0 for a healer anyway.

yeah, I 'am sick of hearing AST is Time Mage + Gambler + Geomancer.
